Why I make book clutches?👇🏼

My passion of sewing and embroidering started at school. Being a student I had an interest in few professions, such as: pharmacy, interior design, travel agency and fashion design.
But at age 17 I decided to try sewing as well 🪡
I successfully finished school in Riga. I had my own dresses collection (which now looks very strange 😅) and jewelry collection as well. But I found my biggest passion only few years ago and it’s EMBROIDERY 🧵💙 It was, it is and it will be EMBROIDERY.

Hi! My name is Viktorija and I'm a designer, embroidery artist and brand owner of VR Handmade.
VR Handmade is a special place where I combine literature with fashion, and as a result you see limited edition book clutches.

But let me tell you 3 main suggestions which helped me to build my business and stay full of energy 🖤

Suggestion No. 1: Always invest in yourself. In my case I invest in education. In a short period of time (1 year approx.) I learned how to embroider, how to create a design and how to build a start-up.

Suggestion No 2: Separate your work and your life. With this I mean you have to organise your work day very well and try to complete a lot of tasks during your working hours only. In my case I switch off my PC at 6 PM and rest of the day I just relax as I wish, sometimes it’s yoga classes, sometimes it’s cooking, but the best is to have a lovely walk with my dog.

Suggestion No 3: Don’t be shy to ask for someone's help. I would rather say ASK for a help. In my practice it helped me a lot of times, because 99% of people are ready to help you.

Stay positive and full of energy, my dears! And always treat yourself to something special! VR Handmade can help you with that 😏
