Sergei Eisenstein, one of the many talents whose roots are connected with Riga. An extraordinary film director, a.k.a. 'father of the montage', a great draughtsman, the son of our beloved Mikhail Eisenstein... His birthday was celebrated also in Florence, the Uffizi Galleries, with an exhibition "Ejzenštejn - The Image Revolution".
