🎉 Riga Taste Festival, August 17 and 18 at two squares in Riga Old Town Mazās Jaunielas 5 and Town Hall Square until 23:00 - experience the best of Riga's culinary scene, street food, performances, cocktails, music and even tastes of Latvian culianary heritage.
🎉Garden of light. Fire installations by Cie Carabosse - August 17, from 22:00 - 02:00, Uzvaras Parks (Victory Park) will undergo an incredible transformation, offering everyone the chance to experience the miracle of fire.
🎉Main event and concerts at 11th November Embankment from 14:00 - 02:00, with musical performances from famous Latvian artists, workshops, writing of the longest love letter, sports competitions, laser and fountain performances and a party with DJs.
These days in Riga are quite sunny and steamy for August (which we love), but you must remember to keep yourself hydrated properly! 💧 Riga is making it easier to do that with 36 free drinking water refill stations. Enjoy clean, safe, and tested tap water at convenient locations around the city. 🙌

Last week, from July 15 to 19, a very special and unique event took place in Riga — "CAMPUS RIGA 2024" — one of the main activities of "The Bridge of Friendship Riga - Nizhyn" project, a collaboration between Rīga (Latvia) and Ніжин Інвестиційний Nizhyn (Ukraine) municipalities with support from Latvijas Republikas Ārlietu ministrija. 🇱🇻🇺🇦
The project activities are designed to provide informational and psycho-emotional support to the employees of the Nizhyn municipality and educational institutions.
🌻The campus hosted 22 representatives from Nizhyn's municipality and educational institutions. These days were filled with a full range of emotions on both sides, as it was created as a training to allow the teachers of Nizhyn to take a break from emotionally shocking daily events in Ukraine and gain professional inspiration for further work.
📗Participants engaged in various meetings, lectures, psychological and physical training and activities, and cultural exchanges to inspire, educate and bring them back to their city.
