We are glad to share this new residential building project, where CONTROLIT is being installed under a PVC membrane.

Installation is going great (thanks to IzoDol s.r.o. ), and our partner will soon perform the first Electronic Leak detection inspection on this roof.

This is one of the typical roof systems using Controlit's electrically conductive underlay.
Non-conductive thermal insulation (ROCKWOOL), Controlit GS Single Ply underlay and PVC waterproofing (SOPREMA International, Izolacijas.lv).🏢
Thanks to the Controlit underlay, it is possible to check the roof waterproofing using ELD (Electronic Leak Detection) technology already at the construction stage and immediately after construction to prevent water from entering the roof system. ⚡

Using Controlit is a win-win situation for everyone involved in the project, not only for the end customer. Together, we can improve the overall situation of roofs, and by properly maintaining and inspecting roofs with non-destructive testing methods, we can extend the life of roofs and buildings! ✅

This spring, our partner Katuseseire OÜ performed an initial roof inspection, including ELD (Electronic Leak Detection), on our first project (Vikimõisas) with Estonian real estate developer Kaamos Kinnisvara, where they used our conductive Controlit GS under 2 layer Kattopojat Oy bitumen system 🇪🇪
As you can see, solar panels are also placed on the roof in this project and in such situations it is even more important that the roof is properly prepared and it is possible to carry out qualitative roof inspections ☀️
