Our Story
L’Institut Amadeus est un “Think & Do Tank” marocain à dimension africaine, fondé en 2008 et basé à Rabat. Positionné au départ comme un laboratoire d’idées sur les problématiques liées au devenir commun de l’ensemble euro-méditerranéen, l’Institut Amadeus a, depuis, élargi son expertise à d’autres espaces pour s’instituer en tant qu’interlocuteur scientifique, indépendant, crédible et innovant. S’intéressant à des thématiques ciblées et précises, l’Institut Amadeus s’affirme comme un Think Tank du Sud de premier choix, qui prône la voix et la vision du Sud sur nombre de thématiques de développement global, de gestion de crises et de géopolitique.
L’ambition majeure de l’Institut Amadeus est de favoriser l’interaction entre gouvernements, secteur privé et société civile, à travers l’organisation de nombreuses conférences et ateliers de travail, tant à l’échelle internationale, via le Forum MEDays et la Global Growth Conference, que nationale, par le biais de l’organisation régulière de workshops et de tables rondes. L’Institut Amadeus est un créateur de débats, qui vise à réunir l’ensemble des parties prenantes, privilégiant ainsi une compréhension globale des phénomènes étudiés.
The Amadeus Institute is a Moroccan “Think & Do Tank” with an African dimension, founded in 2008 and based in Rabat. Initially set up as a laboratory of ideas on issues related to Euro-Mediterranean development, the Amadeus Institute has since expanded its expertise to other areas to become an independent, credible and innovative scientific interlocutor. Focusing on specific themes, the Amadeus Institute has asserted itself as one of the best think tanks of the South, which advocates for the voice and the vision of the South on a number of themes related to global development, crisis management and geopolitics.
The major strategy of the Amadeus Institute is to improve the interaction between governments, private sector and civil society through the organization of several conferences and workshops, both on the international level, via the MEDays Forum and the Global Growth Conference, and on the national level through the organization of workshops and roundtables on a regular basis. The Amadeus Institute is a creator of debates, which aims to bring together all the stakeholders, thus giving priority to a global understanding of the raised issues.
