Today we will analyze which services support the Сonversions API setup⬇️
Let me remind you that CAPI allows you to collect all data from your website, becuse it is transferred directly from your site's server-side, and not through an intermediary in the form of a browser.
▫️ Facebook
The first advertising platform to implement this unique tool. The CAPI setup is very advanced and multifunctional. Use it if you want to insert it directly into the server (hosting) of the site, if you want to do it through Google Tag Manger, if you want to do it through ZAPIER... In short, there are a lot of possibilities. You can learn more in pixel settings (Event Manager).
▫️Google ADS
It is possible to get it setup for Google Ads too. Their setup is not as large-scale as that of FB, but it also works great. They give 3 options to choose from. We've only used it through Google Tag Manager (server-side container) for now. There is information on the Internet as a whole, but out set it up is performed using our unique methodology and everything works just fine.
▫️TikTok
These guys thought for a long time, but still made this opportunity. Works great, setup methods are very similar to Facebook, but not as great features.
Fortunately, it works through Google Tag Manager and clearly shows everything.

"Today I set up CAPI for a client.
Their site was built on a CMS (visual site-builder)
Once I opened their website I immediately saw obvious mistakes on it.
Their CTA button was redirecting to a "thank you" page, where the user was offered to start a chat.
When I asked why it was made this way, I received the following answer: “For us to track the lead on the “thank you” page"
(this is what 90% of advertisers do).
What were the mistakes:
1️⃣ A lot of clicks to enter the chat, a long interaction funnel❌
(it was possible to do everything from the first button: clicked, went straight to the chat, and we track the button press as Lead)
2️⃣ If we set up without making the user to fill the form first, then every click will be considered as a lead = incorrect analytics.
3️⃣ 🔥And personally, an important piece of advice from me is pixel optimization, it will not understand who your target audience is if you just click on the button.
What has been changed⬇️
✅ We have removed the "thank you" page
(I really want to convince all of you to stop using the "thank you" page as this is "old piece of tech" for data tracking)
✅ We made a form collecting user's name and phone number to send more data about your target audience to the pixel. Thus, the system will be searching for similar audience and show them ads for better performance.
✅ After the successful submission of the form, you are redirected to the chat straightaway.
✅ Removed all unnecessary codes and garbage, and, of course, performed a full CAPI setup."
