Get Ready For Grade 1 - Help your child successfully transition from KG to G1

Transitioning from KG to Grade 1 is one of the most important times in your child’s early schooling. It can be both exciting and stressful for children. This is possibly due to going from half day to full day, no textbooks to using books, play based learning to a more academically focused teaching methods.

In my experience, one of the main challenges for students in Myanmar who transition from KG to Grade 1 is their English language skills.

Quite often, students finish KG but are unable to read to G1 level. Furthermore, they cannot form letters correctly nor write words and simple sentences. As a result they will be academically behind and will have to try hard to catch up. This can cause children a lot of stress.

How can a child learn effectively if they are in a stressed state and undertaking work that is too demanding for them?

A ‘bridging programme’ is important to help your child transition successfully.

We will help your child prepare for Grade 1. Our physical course includes:
