I workout every day , I teach every day… and so… every day I am able to learn something new!
Every workout I do, every lesson I guide… I open myself to the unknown, I gave up a long time ago the idea that I am supposed to know all the answers… so I let my own body and the bodies in front of me unveil the answers, the needs, the strategies… when we change our idea of CONTROL… that is not about knowing everything but it’s about being present is the never ending journey of discovery and being present in the action of seeing… we find a new freedom, a new pleasure in what we do… CONTROLOGY 💜

Pilates , to me, is a lot about colors, rhythms, modulation of colors and rhythms… modulation of the colors of each exercise, to feel when to push more when to pull more, to connect each exercise to the other one, to modulate the energies and the power within us; color in our teaching… in the way we use our voice: the tone, the rhythm, the choice of the words (where they come from), the volume, the intensity… the colors in the way we use our hands… how much we are able to use them to listen, feel, guide … again, the modulation in the intensity, in the intention, in the power…
Pilates is an experience… every time we workout, every time we teach, every time observe … let’s be open to all the colors of emotions and feelings that we can discover through the work … all the colors of the body… our true colors 💜

If we really wanna be able to see what’s happening inside the body, if we really want to be able to read the needs of the body in front of us, if we really want to feel our connections, our center, our deep selves… the first thing we need to create is… SILENCE. We use the work, the order, the flow, the rhythm, to move the body as a unit and create silence, space and time to feel, experience, experiment and see with different eyes 💜

🧘♂️❤️🔥Fear, insecurity, vulnerability, doubt… are all feelings that we encounter as Pilates teachers (and human beings 😉). We might think that knowing the “right words” and the “right touch” can protect us from feeling insecure and guide us to do “the right thing,” But, How can we know what the body needs in front of us if we are so focused on what we are supposed to say and do, instead of riding our uncomfortable feelings and making silence to observe, feel, and let the body talk to us?Remembering how the work we do in our own bodies is the source of all the answers… There’s a difference between doing everything right and doing the right thing.
🙌🏻😍At Pilates e-motion, my dream and goal are that every teacher can find their own path, their own voice… We do the same work, but each person does it in their unique way, discovering their own personal gifts, which we often don’t even know we have!
