Whats the difference between a cyst and a tumour? A cyst is a small sac filled with air, fluid, or other material. A tumour refers to any unusual area of extra tissue. Both cysts and tumours can appear in the skin, tissue, organs, and bones.
Should you be concerned when you feel a lump on your pet? Depends, just consult your vet and not Dr Google firstly, and then your vet will give you the answer.
Our 10 yr old boxer patient came for a visit to check out his shoulder lump end of June, after 2 months the walnut size lump became an orange size mass 😓 The lump was completely removed (weighing around 450g) and after 10 days we can say that the surgery was a success.
Please remember that your prompt intervention can prolong your pets life. Always consult your vet when you are concerned and find any kind of lumps on your pet 😉

Cleaning frequently your pets teeth by means of a brush and toothpaste (for animals) will help reduce and also prevent periodontitis.

Its very important to vaccinate your puppies from 6 weeks onwards, especially during our warm summer months when we have a peak of canine parvo virus in the environment. Keep in mind that this is a deadly and highly contagious virus.
