Custom drawn tattoo for Krissie.
What do we mean by “custom drawn tattoo?” In this case, the client wanted to show her love for the Harry Potter books and movies. During our consultation, the client told me she wanted to include the sorting hat, Snape’s famous “Always”, the Golden Snitch, and her house, Slytherin. We looked up some reference pictures and, after discussing size and location of the tattoo, I drew a quick sketch to give an idea of the composition to the client. I do this during the consultation to get instant feedback from the client. This allows me to adjust the primary sketch on the fly which makes for a great collaborative experience with the client. After I was given the go ahead, I took the rough sketch and drew the design to fit the client’s desired area perfectly.
On the day of the appointment, we settled on an appropriate size, and the tattoo was carried out professionally, using the best quality materials available.

The client wanted to convey the mourning he feels for the Malta he once knew. Unfortunately, a lot of people our age and older feel this way. Some might complain about the excessive construction going on, most times referring to Malta as one giant construction sight. Others might complain about the loss of values and culture. What is certain is that Malta has changed in the last 15 to 20 years and one can perhaps understand the odd feeling of walking the streets you grew up on and not recognizing it.

If like me you’re obsessed with Dungeons and Dragons, you have probably poured your very heart and soul into a character. You’ve not only written that character’s backstory and thought of their personality, but you’ve probably also spend years playing as that character. Made real memories with that character that most people wouldn’t really understand.
So, if you’re anything like me, it won’t come as a surprise to you to see someone immortalizing their character they’ve played as for five years after their campaign come to an end.
