Yesterday, our Director of Construction and Development, and CEO of Real Estate, Denise Xuereb, provided insights into the complexities behind rising construction costs. She explained that beyond raw material prices, there are several factors at play.

Workforce, administrative and unnecessary bureaucratic costs are a reality when it comes to rising costs. Ms. Xuereb also pointed out that modern building practices and higher buyer demands mean higher quality and standards, which drive up costs which in turn leads to higher quality standards and better value. Plus, the specialised skills and expertise of architects and consultants further add to the overall expenses.

The St John's Co-Cathedral Museum project is nearing completion!

The construction of the Tapestries Hall is in its advanced stages, with nine large iron structures recently installed to form the roof of the main hall.

This hall, now taking shape with its access points under construction, will eventually house the permanent exhibition of Tapestries by Grand Master Perellos.

Unveiling a New Milestone in the New Museum Project - St John's Co-Cathedral This set is the largest complete series of tapestries in the world and covers a total area of 730 m² with a length of 120 running metres.

AX Construction is proud to have been entrusted as the main contractor on the restoration of Villa Luginsland's masonry fabric.
