A different sort of curry. Using spices I bought on my last trip to London this pork dish is brimming with the aroma of smokey black cardamom, Udu pepper from Nigeria and cinnamon. It also comes with a sweet and savoury tomato pickle that brings the whole dish together. Sourdough loaves, freshly made by Julia for the Home Deli. Check out her menu on the link in our bio to select your choice of loaf. This bread is made with wild yeasts trapped from the air and fermented in a culture of flour and water. This kind of yeast is so much more beneficial for your digestion than the commercial quick-action yeast that you’ll find in so much other bread. It makes the nutrients in the flour much more readily available for your body to absorb, it actually starts the digestion of the gluten before you’ve even eaten the bread, which takes a huge load off your gut, and it’s simply much tastier than any other kind of bread and therefore requires no added fats or sugars. 👌🏽💚🌱

The Tangerine Tree at home is brimming with fruit and I'm racing to find ideas to use it all up! At the moment I'm using them in a tangerine chutney to compliment some Chai Spiced Chicken as part of the Tuesday meal. Yesterday was my first public function, selling close to 100 lunches. The "Macanib Rawnola" and "Twist on Twix" was a huge hit.. both sold out! Alot of preparation and hard work was put into yesterdays event, but it was worth it all. A big thankyou goes out to my parents, Gloria and Claire at Vincents Eco Farm, and everyone else who came to my stand and supported me. A great milestone for Food Therapy ❤🤗❤

Welcoming new home-cook MARTINA to the team!

Martina is the founder of 'Food Therapy For a Conscious Living'. Her menu consists of both sweet and savoury raw, vegan and dairy-free goodness. Her products are a combination of ready-to-eat guilt-free meals or jarred goods for the pantry.

"The food that I create is free from refined sugar, gluten, and dairy. It is also mainly raw - meaning that it is uncooked and some of it is dehdrated for several hours at 43'C. I opt for a raw food diet because during the process of cooking many of the vitamns and minerals are lost and in turn, the energetic value of the food. I love to sneak fruits, veggies and superfood powders like maca and spirulina into my food to make it as nutritious as possible. A raw food diet enables to me to retain all of natures goodness and maximise the nutrient content of the food being eaten."

Whatever we do at The Home Deli we do with care. There is no point in doing it any other way. We make things from scratch because we believe they taste better that way. Maybe they look a little bit rougher round the edges but we like them that way because they're genuine. We want you to taste the difference.

These corn tortillas, part of our Wednesday meal are a perfect example. Made with fresh Maltese corn as well as cornmeal they are rolled out by patient hands, cut to the right size and then grilled individually.

Today's lunch of carob and ginger glazed chicken on top of brown rice and lentils, grilled peaches marinated in basil and a spiced and smoked yoghurt. Work lunches don't have to be boring!
