Executive Board Members of the Association of Travel Agents (ATA) met with Attorney General, Uz. Ahmed Usham, to deliberate on the formulation of Travel Agency Regulations, exchange industry concerns and knowledge, and offer potential solutions for consideration in the drafting process. The objective was also to to expedite the protection promised by HEP for local travel agencies.

ATA had our second meeting on January 15th 2019 with the legal team of Ministry of Tourism to discuss further regarding the Regulation for Local Travel Service Providers. The meeting highlighted on importance of new regulations to be incorporated into the existing regulations to protect the interests of the Local Travel Service Providers in Maldives.
