D.M.C Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. (DMC) was incorporated in 2014 for the purpose of leveraging the potential IT market space in Maldives with the intent of eventually competing in the world-wide arena. DMC's core business is software and at the time of incorporation it held the intellectual property rights to the leading Point-Of-Sale solution in Maldives.

DMC believes in the philosophy of focused growth which it will ensure by concentrating mainly on computer products and services. This said, DMC hefts the backing of Maldives' leading investors and will use this potential to act as a holdings firm for projects outside its scope.

DMC sets itself apart from its competitors by adopting the cause of 'information technology innovation and excellence in Maldives.' At present, Maldives' software business distinctly lacks quality and creativity due to the failure to actively develop these sentiments. DMC will invest in producing world-class quality standards, such as CMMI, in both its own business process and those of its partners. Adoption of CMMI will not only increase the quality of DMC's products but also streamline its processes resulting in better margins and the potential to compete on price terms.

The main area in which the Maldivian market will expedite DMC's offerings is service and support. Unlike its competitors, DMC will not sacrifice quality of service for increased margins. DMC will attain acclaim by implementing a perpetual campaign to educate its target markets in the importance of exceptional service. These awareness programs will be complimented with internal employee development efforts conducted under the auspices of Six Sigma.

BUSINESSGUARD STRENTH

'Businessguard’ solution has been the only software product in the last few years to achieve success in both quality and conformity to project schedules. This can be attributed to the fact that the software has very few substitutes in the local market. The demands of software customers are met by only a few of DMC’s competitors and this is usually achieved through foreign products.

Because DMC’s software products are made in-house it achieves greater margins resulting in better pricing. Competitors are hard-pressed to compete with DMC’s aggressive pricing schemes and still meet the same level of quality and service. This competitive advantage is leveraged by only a handful of other firms all of which produce very small one-off products and solutions such as websites. In contrast, DMC’s product line boasts full-fledged management information systems.

Due to the backing of one of the largest trading houses in Maldives, DMC has the potential to maintain better supplier confidence by conforming to even the most aggressive of payment terms. In issues of serving supplier interests DMC simply has no equal in the Maldivian market, and it can surpass all competitors in this regard.

OUR SERVICES

1.Customization:
Every industry and business has its own unique inventory and accounting needs. BUSINESSGUARD is not the only product DMC has but, DMC is capable of customizing BUSINESSGUARD or integrating and building other specialized applications. DMC is always ready to provide fair quotes on request.

2.Enhancement:
DMC accepts enhancement requests, which are free, but usually take a bit longer than customization. DMC’s development team will analyze the requirements and feasibility of meeting the need of customers. This is the way to save money and process the enhancements required.

3.Data Conversion:
DMC has the capability of importing data from an existing data-base or text files. DMC assists in generating import files from most of the systems or even do the whole entire conversion process.

4.Maintenance and Specialty:
DMC’s team is specialized in software development, networking, repairing, maintaining, installing surveillance systems, and installing smart home systems, data recovering, etc... The Team also provides service to BUSINESSGUARD and non-BUSINESSGUARD customers monthly or even more if required. On subscription of the software maintenance service, one of the team members will visit the client on a monthly basis and make a random check with all the entries during the month and backup the database. The software maintenance service includes telephone, on sight and e-mail technical support. In general, DMC has the solution for almost any issue regarding information technology.
