Her impressive career includes being the first woman world champion and first American to win the Bols Around the World Bartending Championship in 2014. With over 20 years of experience, she has been recognized as one of the industry’s “Top 100 Most Influential Figures in the World” by Drinks International. Kate has also worked as a certified advanced master sommelier for top wineries in Napa, consulted on the series Bar Rescue, and was a finalist on the Netflix show “Drinkmasters.” Currently, she instructs at the prestigious Bar 5 Day program at the Culinary Institute of America. In 2015, Kate was inducted into the Tales of the Cocktail Hall of Fame and received the Catalyst Awards. Her passion extends to her bar and distillery, Happy Accidents, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which has received acclaim as “Best New American Cocktail Bar” at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards and liquor.com awards. Kate and her business partner Blaze Montana were honored with the Best U.S. Bar Team award at the Spirited Awards. Join us for an extraordinary night with this industry luminary!
