Ready to make a jump from the main line of cenote Che Keen

📖 A jump line or gap is placed in passages that lead off from the primary line to alternative navigations. This line should be placed as close as possible to the main line but in some cases can be as far as 30feet/ 9m or more.

When installing a jump, line markers should be installed such as non- directional or directional Marks. This is the way to indicate and mark our exit.

Did you know that there is a set protocol an overhead team must follow while installing a guideline for a cave dive?

Before a team enter the cave, the lead diver will run the pe*******on reel and secure the line to a fixed object in the open water zone.

This first tie-off is the primary wrap, and should mark the beginning of the dive an a position from which a direct ascent to the surface is possible, even in zero visibility.

After the primary tie-off has been made, and team readiness verified, pe*******on can begin. The lead diver should secure the secondary tie-off soon after entering the overhead.

¿Sabías que hay un protocolo establecido que un equipo de buceo en cuevas debe seguir durante la instalación de una línea de guía?

Antes de que un equipo entre en la cueva, el buceador líder debe usar el carrete primario y asegurar la línea a un objeto fijo en la zona de aguas abiertas.

Este será el primer amarre o amarre primario, y debe marcar el inicio de la inmersión en una posición desde la que sea posible un ascenso directo a la superficie, incluso en una situación sin visibilidad.

Una vez realizado el amarre primario y verificado por todo el equipo, puede comenzar la penetración. El buceador líder debe asegurar el amarre secundario poco después de entrar en la zona techada.

Queremos darle la bienvenida a .cozumel , dealer official de xdeep en Cozumel Mexico.
cozumel During this past weekend we had Daniel ( ) and Sasha ( ) diving with us. On our second day we set course to the very south of the island. Our plan for the 1st dive was the following: Punta Sur Sur, Punta Sur and Colombia Deep. All in one same dive… Devils throat, the Cathedral and tons of other insane swim throughs. What a sick dive!

Let us soon show you what we did on our first diving day… will give out a hint, it was at the North.
