The Paris Olympics in July are almost here! And not only they will include 35 remarkable venues, but also Paris 2024 aims to reimagine the Olympic experience by departing from the traditional stadium venues and "integrating sports into the fabric of the city."

From the iconic Grand Palais to the Eiffel Tower, the Gardens of Versailles, and the famous La Concorde, world-famous landmarks are set to host the 2024 games:

British studio is creating 100 refuelling stations in Italian marinas for energy company NatPower as the "world's first green hydrogen refuelling infrastructure" 😮😮😮

Designed to be used by recreational boats, the refuelling stations by ZHA will supply green hydrogen - a type of hydrogen produced using renewable energy— The first charging station is set to be installed this summer!

Ines J. Pedras (Spain) has proposed a wooden geometrical pavilion to connect visitors with nature: this structure is ecologically responsible and will be covered with a sustainable and eco-friendly design made up of rigid panels created from a repeated pentagonal module.

The use of wood as a construction material not only adds to its aesthetic appeal, but also helps it blend seamlessly into the Japanese context. 🌿

Architecture studio Snøhetta has revealed its design for an opera house in the historic town of Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, informed by traditional Najdi architecture.

Located on the outskirts of Riyadh, the Royal Diriyah Opera House will accommodate 3,500 visitors and contain a 2,000-seat opera theatre, two 450-seat multipurpose theatres and a 450-seat covered rooftop amphitheater. According to studio co-founder Kjetil Trædal Thorsen: "​This project aims to connect the area's rich history with contemporary culture, highlighting the importance and integrity of arts when building future communities"

Danish architecture studio BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group has unveiled the design for a luxury residential building with cascading terraces named , which will form part of the Ellinikon city masterplan near Athens!

Designed as the centrepiece of Ellinikon's Little Athens neighbourhood, the project will contain 88 apartments stacked in a staggered arrangement of two gently curving wings, the tallest of which will rise to 50 metres— Alongside BIG's Park Rise, a 200-metre-tall plant-covered skyscraper designed by Foster + Partners is also planned to form part of the Ellinikon masterplan 📋📋

In the heart of Long Thành, a growing district in rural Vietnam, this newly constructed restaurant is recognized at once by its dramatic and intricate bamboo structure topped by a boat-shaped thatched roof, introducing a visual landmark within the evolving urban landscape.

Supported by bamboo structures reminiscent of nipa palms — a familiar riverside plant in southern Vietnam — the design integrates traditional elements from the natural context with modern design.
