🇺🇸🎨 Celebrate the 4th of July with Us! 🎨🇺🇸

Join us in honoring the incredible journey of American artist Don Sahli based in Sayulita! 🌟 Don’s path to becoming a professional artist began prodigiously, creating professional-quality work by age 10 and being represented in galleries by 15. During high school, he achieved the remarkable honor of being a gold key finalist at the National Scholastic Art Competition for four consecutive years.

In 1982, Don met the famous Russian colorist Sergei Bongart, whose demonstration profoundly impacted him, inspiring his lifelong dedication to painting. In 1995, Don opened the Sahli School of Art in Evergreen, Colorado, where he continues the tradition of color and temperature in the lineage of the Russian masters. He believes teaching enriches his own artistry, keeping the Russian tradition alive for future generations.

Discover time through Marenal’s eyes! 🕰️✨ In her new series, the artist invites us to explore how we perceive and experience time in our lives.

“The Allegory of Time”, is a tribute to time itself, reminding us that it is a human concept and, despite its intangibility, exerts a powerful influence on our lives.

“Untangling Time”, immerses us in a profound reflection on how we get entangled in the past and worry about the future, losing sight of the present moment. Through this artwork, Marenal urges us to untangle time and fully embrace the present moment.

Don’t miss these fascinating artworks and join us on a unique journey through time.

Galería Corsica commemorates International Women’s Day showcasing three abstract female artists:

Conchita Rivera

“I enjoy the emotionality and expressiveness of my paintings, immersing myself in the time and space of the creative process in complete connection with myself. For me, art is a territory of freedom where I can fully express myself and find my voice through my observation of the world. Painting enriches my life, leading me to states of concentration where the boundaries of time and space dissolve, connecting me with my inner self and allowing me to depict on the canvas the various aspects of my life and emotions”.

ANTES DE QUE AMANEZCA, ME VOY
Oil on canvas

Leonor Hochshild

“In my creative journey, I see matter as boundless potential, bridging spiritual depths with societal reality. By exploring material properties, I’ve crafted installations and paintings as gateways to the intangible, resonating with my inner self. Through elements like transparency and symbolic forms, I delve into the essence of matter, while mediums like paint evoke visceral experiences. Using everyday industrial materials, I repurpose their significance, embarking on a self-discovery journey through abstract forms and transformative processes, culminating in narratives reflecting my reality”.

Verónica Ximénez

“My painting serves as my primary means of expression, focusing on translating emotion, gesture, color, and texture stemming from my inner turmoil into tangible form. Themes revolve around natural or urban landscapes, abstracted through color and shape. Motivated by impulse yet disciplined, my art blends technique with spontaneous gestures, often blurring the line between the two. Emotions ranging from euphoria to reflection manifest on the canvas, with landscapes featuring prominently. My art delves into an inner world, offering endless introspection”.
