This dance… this fire inside of me.
Something warm & sumptuous,
velvety & plush… a strange choreography for this occasion of semi-mortal terrain… When did I decide to move my self again???
I remember the Sun burning a hole in my heart, dissolving me into an exhausting and expansive release of bright-ness.
I am fire. I am ash. I am the divine darkness within the light. I blaze brilliant.
My Life. My Force. The Song of my Heart. Sweetly, I embrace this awareness; I am but a proud & tiny call into the silent chorus of the void… as she echoes generations of our songs to birth, love, eternal springtime, mythologies of blood, death & creation through her own curious chambers… what will I do?
I decided - I will enjoy & weave & dance & work with grace as I tend to the Veil, listening to welcome the prayers as they eventually make their long journey home. ✨

There is something a little different in the air about this shifting of the seasons. 🍁
Some classic song lyrics come to mind & they sing so true because…

There are layers to this season.
There are layers of this season within me, now.
The more I return, I listen, I slow down…
Harvests become richer - in every aspect.

No. 1 : Nature. Connect back to the Mother. Touch the Earth. Not just the Nature outside of you - come back to touch and remember the nature within.

No. 2 : Slow down. Breathe. Give Thanks. That’s it. Just keep doing that, let it evolve.

No. 3 : INTEGRATIVE COMMUNITY. This one might be the most important. It is something so important to me that I lovingly spend my life force cultivating it. If you know me, you know this is a favorite topic. Community HEALS. It cultivates patience, compassion, connection as it brings us shared work, wisdom & wealth. In a grab & go society, our need to slow down and break bread is urgent. We can’t do this alone. Integrating together in community is something that makes healing more accessible to us all.

I want you to know that we are always here. If I don’t say this enough, it is because I think it is implied. Let me be even more clear with this message. The foundation of my service is to provide safe spaces for people to be able to participate in a Community Integration focused space. When I started this work, I observed that some people would feel isolated after retreats or ceremonies, I call it the “bubble popping” effect. Growing up in Mexico had provided me with access to local healing spaces & I wondered how we could better cultivate these kinds spaces in North America. A few years ago, my path led me to co-creating community space that is so organic & beautiful I can hardly find ways to express my gratitude. If you come to one of our retreats or ceremonies, if you’re preparing for or integrating from another experience - we are honored to hold reliable space for you to always “come home to” along your way. If you come for tea, a sweat or need a safe space to rest for a few days. Come on home.

So thankful to be back in Latin America.
The air, the smells, the atmosphere… Being able to share this adventure of life with my love is the sustenance & oxygen we thrive on. Having the opportunity to travel back to South America in continuing pursuit of our path as students of the Sacred Medicines is a vision come to fruition. I thank my love for all of the shared work we carry as sovereign beings on a powerful soul team - this organic tapestry of a life that we have woven together is already so richly crafted & has only just begun.

Just for one month, put the razors down, set aside the wax, forget the lasers and read a little bit about the history and capitalism behind America’s obsession with hairless women and the impact it has not only on our collective feminine psyche, but also on our environment - the ultimate feminine body of Mother Earth. ❤️❤️❤️

Let it grow: The ‘Januhairy’ movement wants us to embrace body hair | CNN A campaign on social media is challenging people to consider where hairless beauty ideals come from and providing solidarity for those who reject them.

Oof! This path of awareness isn’t always so easy is it???
It asks of us to continually redirect the conversation INWARD.
Now, I’m not saying that certain situations are not serving you or that projections don’t exist. I extend to you the holy & high invitation to take it even further.
I am challenging these wishy washy quick fix statements we see floating into our feeds without any context or discourse, that are aimed to misinform our spirits, bodies and work.
In my experience, if you’re here to do the work AND guide others deeper into theirs - then you had better be willing to take the longer and harder journeys YOURSELF. You cannot expect to retrieve a soul until you have travelled to the absolute depths of your own poisons & darkness to find the powerful medicine that exists there too. Did someone say or do something that upset you or challenged your own reflection???
GO THERE. Stop swatting it away because you’ve been told discomfort “isn’t serving you”. Discomfort is your best friend. Strap on your little headlamp & hiking boots and trek down into the soul wilds where the work actually DOES belong to you!!!
See where you can tap in to more self awareness, compassion, devotion, where you can embrace more of your own fallibilities & raw truths.
I promise, the rewards and wisdom down in those dark caves and obscured pathways are waiting to enrich your life and the lives of those you are seeking to uplift.
You can only guide others into depths or heights that go as far as you have committed to going yourself. There is no plateau. This journey and work will consistently require more and more of you.
How will you answer ???
What are you actually willing to uncover and SEE ???
And guess what else…
There is no guarantee of happiness, no certificate or gold star waiting for you at a finish line that doesn’t exist. The integrity of this work lies in the GRIT of the individual’s willingness to get grimy and celebrate the ick.
Is the work in and of itself a substantial enough to fuel you?

“There is really only one way to restore a world that is dying and in disrepair: to make beauty where ugliness has set in. By beauty, I don’t mean a superficial attractiveness, though the word is commonly used in this way. Beauty is a loveliness admired in its entirety, not just at face value.

The beauty I’m referring to is metabolized grief. It includes brokenness and fallibility, and in so doing, conveys for us something deliciously real. Like kintsukuroi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with powdered gold, what is normally seen as a fatal flaw is distinguished with value. When we come into contact with this kind of beauty, it serves as a medicine for the brokenness in ourselves, which then gives us the courage to live in greater intimacy with the world’s wounds.

To become a fully fledged member of the ecosphere, each of us must find a way to make a contribution of beauty medicine to the world. Most of us don’t think of our gifts as contributions, though they are clearly called ‘gifts’ for a reason, but this may be because they’ve never been properly received.

I’ve heard it said that home is the place where your gifts are received. Indeed, for those who have never had their gifts acknowledged, a true sense of belonging is rarely felt. After all, how can you belong if you are but partially appreciated? If we are honest with ourselves, most of us will also admit that we are stingy with our gifts because we underestimate their worth.

As we apprentice ourselves to the way of nature, we begin to understand that all of life is in a continuous cycle of giving and receiving. It is the honouring of this cycle that makes us feel at home in ourselves and in relation to the rest of nature. In order to experience true belonging, we must not only acknowledge the gifts we are receiving, but also give our beauty away, no matter how it may be received by others.”

For years now, my understanding of retrograde energies is not one of worry or of systems becoming disengaged. It’s actually a blessed pause for the forward chug of the constant universal spiral to ebb back, here and there. When it does, I have been learning to move with an understanding of these cycles as a time of sacred slow down. An opportunity to allow the “backwards” motion to open up a little perspective on what has passed. An astrological Post Mortem, of sorts, serving as a temporary window for deep listening & observation. If we are able to move ease-fully with the flow of the shift, honoring the tugs & pulls with consideration, there are gifts and treasures to be found. As if reading a story for the second time, enriching the roots and growth of the self realizing path ahead. Fertilizing the flowers of the seasons to come… Learning to dance with the tides relieves the amplifications of either flying too fast forward or flailing in a backwards stumble. Tap into the art of micro movements & simple daily dedications… Live with awareness to the whims of the waters & winds, to the precision of the planets & stars… 🌬️✨

Another season of life shifts into completion. The Prayer ever refining itself… growing through the abundant soils soaked with intentions, sweat, love, labor & the sometimes inevitable grief of decay… There is an outspoken beauty in silence and simplicity.
