Congratulations! Today, we had a fantastic time celebrating numerous young readers from elementary and middle school who achieved their AR reading goal for the 2023-2024 school cycle. We extend our gratitude to the parents and teachers who make this achievement possible year after year.

Thank you Ximena Marroquin García! Ximena provided us with a new copy of the book 'Las Aventuras de Benjamin', written by a family member. This book was authored by a mother of a child with disabilities with the goal of educating other children about the realities of that life. Our library is honored to have this book in our collection to share with our students and the community, helping to raise awareness and provoke thoughtful discussion.

Congratulations to the students pictured below who have all achieved their reading goal for this school year. We are incredibly proud of all of you! Keep up the great work and continue expanding your minds. ♥

We're thrilled to announce that this week our library was able to donate over 400 books to the Casa Comunitaria del Libro here in Reynosa. Their library works closely with the Casa del Migrante, underprivileged schools, and other community centers. It truly warms our hearts to be able to support them in their endeavors.

Thank you!! Oxfordian mom Ariadna Velasco came by to read a fun book to our nursery classes. They truly enjoyed her dynamic storytelling and attention grabbing style.

We're very thankful for the parents that come each week to the library, please let us know if you would like to read to your child's group, we are happy to help you find materials. 🤗

Today we begin our annual Who Was reading competition! Students 4th - 12th are invited to sign up in the library and compete to show us who has more cultural and historical knowledge after reading these interesting books about our history.

The competition lasts two weeks and we have many prizes, come see us today!

Congratulations! Students who reached the AR goal this week and earned their T-shirt prize. 🥳

Our kindergarten students come every week to check out books. 🤗 Parents and families are always welcome to come visit as well, come one, come all.
