Bible memorization time

Dear friends and family,

I do not consider myself a theologian but I have been studying Bible prophecy especially in the Old Testament and I believe that we are very close to the possibility of God dealing with a world that for the most part has rejected Him. There are several Old Testament prophecies that point to the fact that first of all God would bring his people back into their lands which I believe happened on May 14th, 1948. Jeremiah 29:14 Isaiah 11:12 Ezekiel 37:21 Another prophesizes that the nations of the world would turn against Israel. Psalm 83:1 Another declares in the last days there would be many false prophets which I believe we are seeing and abundance Matthew 24:11 There is another that prophesied a dramatic increase in wickedness and greed and pride. 2 Timothy 3:1-7 I believe we would all be wise to consider the signs of the times and draw near to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior through prayer, studying of the Word of God, meditating on the Word of God and sharing Christ with others.

God God is blessing our efforts to reach the men and women of the rehab centers here in San Miguel day. Our team led by Mauricio Mendez is currently ministering in five different rehab centers plus various Alcoholics Anonymous groups. Dozens of these clients have now come to Christ and have been baptized. Though we share the gospel at every meeting we have moved into serious discipleship. We are expecting to baptize 25 to 30 men this month

Our journey with God has taken us many countries and given us hundreds of unique experiences. Some of our fondest memories have been with various indigenous groups throughout Mexico. Recently, we have had the opportunity to meet and minister to a Nahuatl family.

One of our greatest blessings is to be able to minister to those that have been abandoned and show them the Love of Christ

It with a touch of sadness but a heart of joy that I want to share with you that one of the best friends I have had in my life Travis Burkhart has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today, Saturday, February 21, 2019. Travis was one of the most loving caring individuals I have met in Mexico. He help so many in a variety of ways. He served as a translator for MissionsforLife and an English teacher for Mexican children that wanted to learn English for their future. He was always ready to share his faith in Christ wherever he was. He gave generously to those in need. He love God, Mexico and people from all walks of life. He attended Antioch Community Fellowship faithfully before returning to San Antonio TX due to health problems. Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Director Joshua Driscoll is investing his life in the lives of the students. Now he has added to his efforts a Christian scouting.
