I'm dedicating this bodypaint to all victims of femicide in México. There were 827 (recognized) cases of femicide in México in 2023 and there have been 54 cases already in 2024. To all women whose wings were cut off by violence and to the ones who keep taking flight every day to chase their dreams. At the end of the day we just want to live without fear, let's keep fighting for that right. 💪
Some of these photos were taken with dresses from the exhibition "Vestidos rojos" that highlight this important issue.

Dear family, friends, and clients, thank you for supporting 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘂𝗽 through all these years, and to everyone who has been a part of this project. I believe in positive transformation and after 8 years, I’m now excited to continue this journey under my name 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘂𝗽 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁. This rebranding allows me to keep my business growing sustainably with the same dedication to providing exceptional makeup services. This transition also opens the door to exciting possibilities! Alongside Catrina makeup, I’ll soon be offering makeup for parties, weddings, and editorial projects, as well as body and face painting. No matter what the project is, my goal remains the same – to make my clients feel amazing in their own skin. This page is not going anywhere and I´ll be sharing more here soon. It's hard not to feel joy with so much beauty around! ✨️🦋 The flowers and butterflies of these fields served as the main inspiration for this makeup. You'll see them in a few days decorating resting places, altars and doors all around the city. They are an important part of our culture and growing them it's certainly a labor of love.
