A challenging but extremely fun and rewarding experience for this team which is truly committed to excellence and mischief. 😉

Congratulations to Peyton on completing IANTD Cave Diver program with Ivo over the last few days. We had a fair amount of laughter, interesting discussions, and mischievous scenarios.

Thanks to Lucas and Bram for interning the class and playing as students. This is part of their process of becoming cave instructors themselves.

Congratulations to Gallup, Vincent and Edi on their FATHOM GEMINI CCR crossover with Gio. Much was learned, and carrying heavy tanks through the jungle was just part of the fun 😂

Giovanni spent the week in New Orleans at DEMA, hanging out at the Fathom booth with Charlie and generally getting into mischief.

Congratulations to Devon and Erik on completing GUE Fundamentals with Ivo over the last few days. Undertaking this class with little over a dozen dives is no small feat. Through some sweat and laughs, we managed to improve some of our foundational skills to become safer and more competent divers.
Looking forward to seeing you guys progress through your diving career, this is just the beginning ;)

Congratulations to Ana and Alex on completing GUE Fundamentals class with Ivo over the last few days.

A friend of ours tends to describe Fundamentals as "Doing simple things, really well." Well... it's easier said than done🙂

Focusing on these fundamental skills allows divers to increase their overall capacity by reducing the task loading that comes from managing their buoyancy, trim, and positioning in the water.

As a diver's capacity increases, so does their awareness allowing them to enjoy more their dives, communicate better with their teammates, and anticipate potential events that could place them at risk.

Team 3D returned to El Pit to continue our photogrammetry project with special guest Jon Bernot of Cave Country Dive Shop .
It's been 7 years since he'd seen the Wakulla Room, we think he'll be back again 😉

Congratulations to Nick on completing GUE Fundamentals with Ivo over in the warm waters of Cozumel. After a few days of sun, sweat, and salty water, Nick discovered a new way of diving. Refining basic skills, getting rid of old habits, and creating a new mindset to dive more comfortably and safely.

Thanks to Lucas for tagging along as always and offering his innate ability to be the "unresponsive diver". 😆

Congratulations to Arie on the completion of his FATHOM GEMINI crossover with Giovanni. Interesting conversations, and new perspective on CCR diving. Looking forward to have you back my friend!

Congratulations to Lance on finishing his IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix class with Ivo over the last few days. A fair amount of discussions, intricate scenarios, and an above-average level of fun were had. Drifting along 150ft on the Akumal wall made it just even better.

Thanks to Lucas for joining in as a teammate and adding some Argentinian flavor to the mix.

Congratulations to Jen, Megan and Mickey for a fun and successful week of T1 training with Kelvin in Tulum, and out in the big blue wobbly thing at Akumal.

Mickey is off to Chuuk for a spot of wreck diving, Megan as well in a few months. Jen will no doubt be headed back to the caves ;-)

Congratulations to Juan on completing his IANTD Sidemount course with Gio. A new world ahead of you my friend. It's just the beginning!

Congratulations to Marcos and Benedict aka Team "Flow Check" on completing a week of GUE Cave 1 training with Ivo. The relentless team endured all sorts of interesting scenarios and maintained a fair degree of composure when solving all sorts of mischievous problems.

A new dimension has been unlocked! Off to enjoy the caves, my friends!

Congratulations to Keke "Kirk" Zhong, IANTD's newest Technical Cave Instructor based in Tulum.
Keke earned this the hard way with numerous interns and team teaching on top of experience gathered teaching Cavern and Intro Cave programs.
