This project had a quite interesting story. At first we are just roaming around through door by door searching for potential client we can help with their commercial space. Finally, we found someone that wants us to help with their commercial space. The client wants us to make the barber shop more spacious in order that he wanted to start a barber service and training academy as well as to make his facade store to be more recognizable so we add on usage of lighting and separate it by floor levelling for the academy and barber service to differentiate the space.

Our jobscope of this project is to design multipurpose space for family and kitchen area. For multipurpose room, they want to maximize the usage of storage. Modern Colonial are the best word for this design. Client wants us to create a semi-private area for kitchen and so we improvise it by adding new wainscoting covered wall plus hidden entry door to the kitchen. We also improvise the existing bar counter area to make sure it intergrated with the new entry wall without neglecting the existing built-in furniture.

To spice up the space concept we have to listen what our clients interest and character before we start their dream home. For this project, our client interest more to the concept industrial but make it more modernize. So, what we suggest for the colour theme and material are textured wood, steel, concrete finish and combination of colors such as black, brown, beige, grey, and white. And also we add on some elements of nature to soften the looks and feelings of the house.

This site, such a memorable one. The building management requested to redesign their guard house + pickup & drop off area. Poor planning really goes a long way and wasting money too!

In this case, we must calculate how much space required for a vehicle to turn, what is the standard gap of driveway and etc2. It definitely was something new to learn, but it can be done👍
