Guess what, folks? We've hit the intermission of 2024, and what a journey has been. It's the perfect moment for some mid-year reflection. 🕰️

Personal achievement: I'm thrilled that I've earned my Professional Image Consultant certification from SWET International endorsed by Wilmington Metropolitan University, USA, and London Chamber of Continuous Learning, UK. This milestone represents months of hard work and dedication. It's like getting a black belt in making people look fabulous and levelling up in the world of style!

Age is not a barrier being a corporate retiree or a senior. I am here not to expire but to inspire as in life there is no retirement

On the business front, I've gained more focus and a clearer direction towards achieving my goals. My focus has sharpened, and the business plan got a refresh. New additions include corporate training and public workshops - because style isn't just for the runway! It's amazing how a bit of introspection can sharpen my vision and drive me forward. 🎯

Looking ahead to the second half of the year:

I'm excited to further enhance my Professional Image Consultant skills. My next goal is to complete my certification as a Fashion Feng Shui facilitator by mid-July.

On the business side, I'm gearing up to launch my new corporate training programs, expand my client base, and explore potential partnerships to broaden my reach. I'm also planning to boost my online presence and attract more diverse clients.

The show must go on. Always growing, always learning, always adapting! 💪

Today marks the last day for year 2022. The New Year awaits and is a moment of quiet reflection. Reflect on the year gone by; of the happy gains and missed opportunities. Recount the good and bad of the past year. Introspect on my personal growth and learn from the experience. New Year is the time to ensure that I bring balance to my life with positive influences overriding the negative ones.

We count our blessings that our small business of providing virtual assistance services was not affected by the pandemic but instead has grown from operating from a home office to a 4 desks co-shared office.

Year 2022 has seen continuous growth. We continue to receive retainer clients and new clients from the support of all of you. For year 2023, new services will be added into our business portfolio including launching training programs corporates and community with the objective of imparting and empowering more seniors and retirees on knowledge commerce to continue an active lifestyle post-retirement.

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Two weeks ago, I wrote about the host of a webinar sending me a message telling me of his participants enjoying my sharing during the webinar. These little gratitude from the host and the participants filled me with joy and happiness that I have managed to enrich their lives.

What I didn’t expect was receiving from the host yesterday of the overwhelming documented feedback of the participants. This gives me the courage to further advance and pursue my journey as a speaker to further share my life experience to enrich, empower and educate more lives on their journey to become a start up entrepreneur.

This is about motivation both ways as the participants' feedback motivates and inspire me just as much as I have inspired them.

Thanks to HRDF E-penjana program and after going through 12 days of intensive trainings back in April before our 3rd lock down, my certificate finally arrived. I am now a HRDF TTT exempted trainer with number 8982. Do I stop here? - I don't think so.

Next step is to get myself accreditated with HRD Corp by submitting my training for assessment.
