Audi A6 – Engine & Gearbox Mount

⚠️ Vibrations were noticeable at the dashboard, especially when reversing. After a thorough inspection, we discovered that the engine and gearbox mounts were worn and needed replacing. Mercedes-Benz 300 SE – Rusty Radiator

⚠️ The 300 SE, a classic symbol of automotive excellence, has served its owners faithfully for decades. However, as with any older vehicle, time takes its toll, becoming evident when rust accumulates in the radiator, threatening the engine’s ability to stay cool.

Mercedes-Benz C200 – Starter Motor

⚠️ The car has intermittent starting issues, where it may sometimes start and other times fail to start. These issues can be caused by problems with the starter motor, battery, electrical connections, ignition switch, or fuel system. Range Rover Evoque – Suspension System

⚠️ Noise heard from the rear suspension of the vehicle. We discovered that the rear absorber, as well as its mounting and bushings, had become worn and required replacement. Shock absorbers are a key component of cars, responsible for comfort and driving safety. It is important to know when your shocks need to be replaced.

➕ We also discovered that the front stabiliser links are due for replacement, as a knocking noise is heard while driving over uneven roads.

Volkswagen Polo – Timing Chain

⚠️ Abnormal noise is coming from the engine due to a faulty timing chain. Despite being made of metal, timing chains can wear out, become loose, or eventually break due to stress over time. A bad or worn timing chain can cause rattling and noisy sounds from the engine bay.

➕ We also performed an engine oil service and replaced the necessary filters.

Mercedes-benz CLA 180 – Boost Leak

⚠️ Car underpower due to boost leak from the cracked intake manifold turbo hose. A boost leak can cause a decrease in power and acceleration due to the loss of pressure in the intake system.

➕ We also replaced some parts of the engine cooling system due to a coolant leak and the charcoal canister/filter because the nozzle kept kicking off during refueling.

A boost leak is a type of air leak in the intake path just before the engine cylinders. The symptoms of boost leak include:

Audi Q3 – Lower Control Arm

⚠️ Clunking noise heard from the suspension when driving over bumps or uneven terrain indicating the possibly worn lower control arm bushings or ball joints.

➕ Noises also occur when braking, which is a sign that your brake pads are worn out.

Lower control arms are typically equipped with bushings on the frame side of the vehicle and a ball joint on the wheel side that allow flex and controlled movement according to road conditions and steering input from the driver.

You might also hear knocking and clunking noises from the suspension when driving over bumps. Audi A5 – Coolant Leaks

⚠️ Coolant leaks from the water pump are a common indicator that it’s time for a replacement. The coolant is contained within the water pump by a series of gaskets and seals. When these components wear out, loosen, or crack, radiator fluid will begin to leak.

➕ We also replaced the Bowd Cable for the faulty inner door handle and the HID Ballast Control Unit due to the headlamp flickering issue.

Audi Q5 – Petrol Smell in Car

The customer has been noticing a strong petrol smell inside their car cabin, which could be a sign of a faulty fuel pump. This issue isn’t just unpleasant but it can also be dangerous. We also replaced the worn brake pad and disc, as requested.
