We are proud to announce that SEN ENRICHMENT CARE CENTRE was a qualified winner for the Best Special Education Category, an award given by Private Education Entrepreneur Association of Malaysia.

It was a great privilege to be able to share this stage with so many other award receivers in the private education field.

Thank you PEEAM awards for recognising special education centres in the award list. Congratulations to all other special education centres to be able to receive their respective awards last weekend.

It was rather tough this year around due to site-visit for quality checking, providing evidences, keeping proper company profiles, and posing all the relevant licenses were some of the essential elements checked by the juries.

Our recent team building trip to Ipoh, Perak was an unforgettable two days packed with exciting activities. It wasn’t just about the adrenaline rush or the beautiful scenery. The real highlight was the opportunity to bond with our colleagues in a new and adventurous setting. We participated in challenges that required teamwork and communication, which helped us to see each other in a new light and develop a deeper understanding of one another’s strengths and personalities. By the end of the trip, we weren’t just co-workers, we were a team that had faced challenges together and emerged stronger, ready to tackle anything that comes our way.

Earlier this year, SEN students had a chance to visit the Museum of Bank Negara. They were able to look at current world currencies while having a look through time with how Malaysian notes and coins have changed over the years. There was an exciting tunnel made of Malaysian Ringgits that led to an exciting hall filled with activities. Our students were able to learn basic functions of a bank such as practicing to write a check and using an ATM. Furthermore, our students learned how to use online banking such as how to register a credit card to pay the bills. Besides, our students had a chance to learn the barter system and how to trade items with their friends through a digital game. All in all, our students were exposed to the world of banking and trading in both a physical and digital means. Fantastic learning in such a fun way 💫!

We were given an opportunity to conduct a workshop in the ICIE, 2024. Our founder, Ms Thila shared her expertise and experience with the conference’s participants and presenters on behaviour management practices for educators. We hope the workshop has benefited the educators ☺️

Thank you for everyone who supported us during the ICIE, 2024. We managed to sell our students’ handmade crafts and cookies. The money will be directly used for students as a reward. Thank you Mai for effortlessly connecting with people and sharing about all the wonderful works done at SEN 💕.

We are privileged to be able to contribute and participate in the International Conference on Inclusive Education (ICIE, 2024), which occurred a few weeks ago. Apart from being the main sponsor for the event, we were also delighted to showcase our students’ talents during the opening ceremony which was wowed by many! We were superbly proud of our kids whom were able to follow through the demands accordingly. Well done kids and teachers for your continued dedication to make this a memorable experience!

The Zoo Trip returned this year, albeit with a new set of pupils. We are happy that our kids at the centre have this opportunity. Even though the excursion involved long walks for extended periods of time, they actually enjoyed it.

Throwback of teacher training done last Friday 🥰 It was mostly hands on practices focusing on student’s individual programmes ☺️ Thank you teachers and trainers!

It was a fruitful 2-days training session and supervision visit to BConnect Speech Therapy & Development Centre @ Melaka 💛

It has been a week since SEN Enrichment has celebrated its first ever family day!

We are still very overwhelmed with the success of celebrating our children, teachers, and parents.

We have been training our students to perform on the stage including dancing, poetry, piano recital, singing in a choir and completing a catwalk for the fashion show.

The teachers were tirelessly working for the past couple of months to make this event a hit! In fact, the students were not the only performers as the teachers have also practiced their own performances. We had a group of dancers as well as SEN’s own band!

The event was bloomed by our special guests, Prof. Datuk Dr Sufean, President of National Association of Special Education, Malaysia; and Datin Zuraida and Pn Fatimah the co-founders of Kidz Cabin Preschool.

Both the students and teachers were awarded for their best performances of the year 2023.

We received overwhelming responses from the parents on how emotional they were to be able to see their kids on stage for performances.

We still could not believe on the magics that happened on that beautiful day.

We were very grateful to be able to do this for our children at SEN and for their parents to be proud of what they are capable of.

Thank you, parents, teachers, and guests for making this a remarkable day to be remembered forever 💕

Happy Chinese New Year from all of us at SEN 🥳

Our children at centre had an opportunity to watch movie at the nearby theatre. To our knowledge it was the first movie outing experience for some of our kids. We were enlightened to be part of their experience 🥰

Every child deserves to learn and it’s our responsibility to teach them in the way that they could learn at their best.

The year started with a two-day teacher training workshop. We are all prepared to provide our children with the utmost love and care ❤️❤️❤️

SEN Enrichment Care Centre turned 5 🥳🥳🥳 We celebrated with our dedicated teachers and therapists.

We are extremely enlightened to announce our new collaboration with Bconnect Speech Therapy Centre. We are collectively working to provide Early Intervention Programme at Bconnect that includes curriculum, student development and teacher training. We have been brewing on this plan for some time and decided to kickstart the project. Special thanks to the man behind this initiative, Mr Boon for having broad mindedness about allowing us to develop and implement effective programmes for children under Bconnect.
We are looking forward for this collaboration to bloom to further extends in the upcoming years.

Our colourful Deepavali celebration at school 😍

Yesterday was a fantastic Halloween celebration! The excitement, costumes, and collaborative tasks that both teachers and pupils completed left us in awe. Indeed, we are getting ready for all the exciting events in the upcoming weeks 🥳

Exciting news! We have recently signed a MOU with KidzCabin to provide a new after-school program for children with learning difficulties and those who are about to transit to school settings. We have trained the teachers to carry out the program, and we are closely monitoring its implementation and efficacy.

We believe that all children deserve to have access to a quality education, regardless of their learning needs. That’s why we are committed to working with more kindergartens to make inclusion a reality. We also hope that preschools can provide the necessary support for children who learn best in an inclusive environment.

Annual dental checkup is essential for all and this has to be practiced since young. Going to clinics, especially dental clinics could be challenging for our children with needs. As such we arranged one for our children at centre, collaborating with Klinik Pergigian SK Ampang Dental. The staffs from the clinic were friendly and accommodating when handling our children. Thank you for this collaboration as our kids benefited the most ❤️

Our senior teachers managed to complete Teacher Talk Training B with Miss Tye Wuey Ping, a couple weeks ago. The training was very informative as well as interactive. Our teachers enjoyed being guided and trained by Miss Tye who has decades of experience as Speech-Language Pathologist.

Thank you, Miss, for an excellent training session and we are looking forward for more training sessions 💓

We're at Taylor University right now for the International Conference on Special Education 2023. Our location is Booth 19. We're staying until tomorrow. Do visit us for more information on our programs and trainings ☺️

Our social thinkers are about to start working in groups following their respective group plans. Be informed that our students didn't start at this stage. Some of them initially faced participation barriers, ranging from low compliance in classes to having behavioral issues. However, today, we are glad to see them being able to take up instructions in a group setting and participate in group activities enthusiastically. We are superb proud of our 'little social thinkers'.

We conduct two social thinking classes weekly, one for our little thinkers and another for our homeschoolers. We are amazed at how much progress these kids have made so far! 🥳
