For Kuala Lumpur Engineering Science Fair - KLESF, team from Robotik SIKL made School Guardian, a fire protection system for school where they will have a Halocode and a fire sensor to detect fire and an mBot Neo robot that will extinguish the fire.

Makeblock products can also be used for your innovation projects!

With parts from Makeblock STEAM Kit, mBot and coded with mBlock 5, students from Robotik SIKL made an AI Image Recognition Trash Sorter.

The system is able to identify if the trash is organic or inorganic using Block 5 machine learning function, and with the conveyor belt and servo controlled by mBot, it will sort out the trash to the corresponding bins.

MakeX International 2023 will be held in Yantai, Shandong, China on 8th-10th December 2023! A beautiful coastal town rich with history and culture.
And the good news is that the winning team for for each of the MakeX National category is entitled for free accommodation during the event! Note that flight is excluded.

MakeX Spark 2023 Biodiversity Competition result is out and we have a winner from Malaysia!

Congratulations to Ihsan & Omar from Robotik SIKL for clinching the Young Innovator Award.

Using Makeblock's mBot Neo & Halocode, combined with mBlock image classification artificial intelligence, they created their project called Forest Guardian that can monitor biodiversity in the forest and identify incoming threat.

MakeX Spark 2023 1st Match is on!

MakeX Spark is an innovation competition program for young people aged 6-13. In 2021, it reached more than 60 cities in 25 countries around the world, covering 450 schools and involving 1500 students.

Contestants are encouraged to use a variety of materials to design and build their projects. Through project-based learning, contestants boost their imagination and creativity, and combined with critical thinking and research of a real-world issue, contestants are improving their cross-disciplinary problem-solving skills. Also, the contestants’ skills in expression, collaboration, and cooperation can be enhanced through project demonstration.
