Field trip! We were recently invited by Polygon Pictures Malaysia (https://www.ppi-my.com) for a tour of their studio - how could we say no? Pictured : a bunch of happy final year animation students (and a suspiciously happy lecturer)

The AFX team had a fun-filled weekend with the students of SMK Cyberjaya during our 'Introduction to Augmented Reality (AR)' workshop. Students explored the use of Spark AR and worked on incorporating AR in creating their own educational content.

Thank you very much to Cikgu Hafira for bringing such awesome students for our Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP).

Our final year students had a fantastic opportunity to showcase their amazing creativity and talent during our Animation Pitch Event. They presented their projects in front of a panel of industry professionals who were kind enough to lend their expertise and support.

We want to extend a huge thank you to all the invited panel members for their time, insights, and encouragement.

Congratulations to all the students who showcased their projects with such passion and dedication. 🎉👏

The 2nd Year Animation students are still a couple of weeks away from their final presentation for this semester, but they're hard at work rendering out all their shots!

There's 40+ projects for this batch, but here's a small sample of the various styles of projects they'll be showing.

Earlier this week, we were visited by our articulation partner Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU UK). Aside from briefing our students regarding studying in the UK, they also held a workshop for the students entitled 'The Art of Storytelling : Developing Narratives on a Journey from Observation - Visualisation to Realisation'.

Last Friday, we were at the KL 3D Community Night, organized by Autodesk and Virtuos, at Tiffin at The Yard, KL.

Besides being an industry networking and sharing session, it was also a fun night filled with food and friends... and friends filled with food.
