Having swollen feet is completely normal, and luckily there are many safe, natural home remedies you can try at home to reduce the swelling and make yourself more comfortable.
Have you ever thought of experiencing the benefits of soaking feet in Epsom Salt?.....WHY dont try OHINGASAN's Foot Bath that enrich with the benefit of Epson salt.
Wondering how or why you can benefit from Epsom salt while pregnant?
1. Reduces Swelling & Inflammation
One major Epsom salt benefit is a reduction of swelling. This is one reason Epsom salt baths are popular among injured athletes – because of the healing, anti-inflammatory properties of magnesium sulfate found in Epsom salt.

2. Improves Skin Smoothness
Pregnancy can cause changes in skin smoothness, and as your stomach expands, the sensation can be itchy. Luckily, Epsom salt acts as a natural exfoliant to smooth out stretches, improve skin appearance, and reduce itchiness associated with pregnancy. With so many changes occurring in your body, the last thing you should have to sacrifice is soft, glowy skin!
3. Eases Muscle Tension
Swelling and bloating are two common pregnancy woes that can stem from digestive troubles and constipation. The good news? Epsom salt baths work to greatly reduce bloating, and can even alleviate constipation. Epsom salt acts as a natural laxative, and when absorbed through porous skin, can help regulate your bowel movements. This is another great reason to enjoy a prenatal Epsom salt bath each day.
4. Relieves Morning Sickness
Struggling with morning sickness? Among the natural cures you've probably explored, why not consider a salt bath for this, too? The magnesium found in Epsom salt is known to reduce nausea, and in fact, a magnesium deficit can directly cause stomach upset. One great way to ensure you're getting the magnesium your body needs is to let yourself soak in a peaceful salt bath.
5. Reduces Stress
Stressed about the major life changes that a baby will bring? It's only natural! To help you cope and relieve some of your anxiety, consider lavender bath salts. Known for its relaxing properties, lavender can help you decompress and fight the side effects of stress. Coupled with anti-inflammatory Epsom salt, you can't go wrong by turning to this simple solution!
For all moms-to-be out there: salt baths can be an effective alternative solution for battling your side effects of pregnancy.
Note:
Do be sure to check with your doctor about the frequency of Epsom salt baths you can have.

Coconut Virgin Oil for Pregnant Mothers
During pregnancy consuming superfood provides nutrients that contribute to the well-being of the baby. One of the superfood pregnant mothers can consume is Coconut Virgin Oil. Here are some reason why pregnant mothers should include Coconut Virgin Oil in their diet:
1. Coconut oil primarily contains lauric acid, which is a medium-
chain fatty acid (MCFA) that will increase the levels of good
cholesterol.
2. Coconut Virgin Oil has anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal
properties. It is an important protection for pregnant mothers
in preventing viral infections, for example colds. Thus
minimizing the intake of over-the-counter medications.
3. Coconut Virgin Oil not only strengthen mommy’s immune
system, but also the baby. Regular consumption can help
relieve pregnancy nausea and ease pregnancy heartburn.
4. Some expecting mother experience constipation. Drink a lot of
water and adding Coconut Virgin Oil in your diet may help
soften the stool.
5. Coconut Virgin Oil is all you need to combat stretchmarks as it
moisturizes the skin. Apply Virgin Coconut Oil all over your
belly focusing in your belly. You might need to repeat this
process several times as the belly grow.
****How Safe Is Virgin Coconut Oil During Pregnancy?****
Coconut Virgin Oil is safe to consume during pregnancy. We suggest to take Coconut Virgin Oil in moderation, not more than 5% of your daily calorie count. We wouldn’t advise eating it directly especially for those who never consume Coconut Virgin Oil before but the benefits make it a useful alternative to other oils or butter.
****Ideas to incorporate Virgin Coconut Oil****
There are tons of ways to include Coconut Virgin Oil to your daily diet. Here are some of ways that you can try:
1. Add Coconut Virgin Oil to your smoothies
This is one of the best ways to have coconut oil while pregnant.
You can add about a tablespoon of coconut virgin oil to your
smoothies. This will give you your share of lauric acid on a
consistent basis as well as provide you with a filling and
energizing drink.
2. Stir fry your veggies with Coconut Virgin Oil
If you like your veggies fried as a snack, you can sauté them in
coconut oil. The oil has a high tolerance to heat and is hence,
one of the best for frying and cooking without worrying about
toxins in super-heated oil.
3. Use as a bread spread
Mix your Coconut Virgin Oil with chocolate powder to create a
yummy choco spread. You can also blend it together with
peanuts to get a healthier version of peanut butter spread.
Spread this with brown bread and voila! Breakfast is served! (or
is it mommy’s midnight snack)

Ohingasan's Coconut Virgin Oil is created using a special cold-pressed method which allows us to keep in all the natural goodness of the coconut flesh without using harsh chemicals.
The fresh coconut flesh is either quick-dried using minimal heat and a mechanical oil press or wet-milled by pressing coconut milk from the flesh then separating the oil from the water.
Coconut oil has a long shelf-life, allowing transportation and storage for long distances and times, and is also resistant to oxidation, so it doesn’t go rancid quickly. Rancidity is dangerous because it can generate free radicals, which have been proven to cause cancerous cells.
A rich source of vitamins, minerals, and dietary fibre, our Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil can be used as a spread, in dressings, in smoothies, and even applied topically as a nourishing skin treatment.
Available in n 200ml, 330ml and 500ml bottle, you can transform your cooking with a simple touch of coconut oil and bring your recipes to life!

Coconut, fruit of the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera), a tree of the palm family (Arecaceae). Coconuts probably originated somewhere in Indo-Malaya and are one of the most important crops of the tropics.
Botanically speaking, a coconut is a fibrous one-seeded drupe, also known as a dry drupe. However, when using loose definitions, the coconut can be all three: a fruit, a nut, and a seed.
Every bit of the coconut is used. As a result, coconuts are called the “Tree of Life” and can produce drink, fiber, food, fuel, utensils, musical instruments, and much more.

The time after you've given birth is a period of time unlike any other that a woman will have in her entire life. A minimum of 40 days, (although Ayurveda says three years!) should be taken to heal physically both internally and externally, emotionally and yes spiritually too. It's an intense time, emotions run high, huge changes are going down and it deserves space.
One beautiful little treat for a postpartum mum, is to take a healing herbal bath. If she has birthed vaginally she can bath like this right away after birth, if she's had a c-section it might be worth just checking with your midwife as to when you can soak your scar as it will need dryness for a while. These baths are incredibly healing for your perineum and can help reduce swelling and pain. They're also super relaxing and if you bath with your baby they are not only going to help with healing baby's cord stump, but they're such a beautiful bonding experience for you both.

Borneo is the home for many ethnic groups, each maintaining their diverse yet unique ways of life, including the widespread practice of traditional cures and medicines. The use of plants or plants materials in their traditional medical practices has been an integral part of their cultures and which they have carried on long before the introduction of modern medical systems. Even with the availability of modern medicines, traditional medical practices still persist, either as an alternative or as supplement to modern medicines.
In OHINGASAN, we are looking into ways were we can transform our native heritage so that it is easily accessible for our younger generation and world.
