What does Sama Sama mean? Does it come from Malay, Vietnam or China? Do such questions ever arise when you visit us? Today, we would like to share the never-before-told story of our coffee shop to our valued customers as a token of appreciation.

In the true sense of the word, Sama Sama carries the meaning of ‘you are welcome’ in response to ‘thank you’. Whenever our customers thank us for our service, we would like to express our deepest gratitude in return. Additionally, Sama Sama also has the connotation of ‘togetherness’ in Malay Bahasa. The business idea originally blossomed in a tattoo shop when a Chinese Malaysian met a Vietnamese expat. Together, they put the plan into operation and today, we offer a menu which embodies Malaysian cuisine and Vietnamese drinks.

Bạn đã bao giờ tự hỏi Sama Sama mang ý nghĩa gì? Đây là từ gốc Mã, Việt hay Hoa? Hôm nay, chúng tôi muốn tri ân đến những vị khách thân mến của mình bằng một câu chuyện chưa bao giờ kể về Sama Sama.

Về mặt ngữ nghĩa, Sama Sama là lời đáp ‘đó là hân hạnh của tôi’ khi ai đó cảm ơn bạn. Mỗi khi khách cảm ơn chúng tôi vì dịch vụ của quán, chúng tôi muốn hồi đáp lại bằng sự biết ơn chân thành nhất. Ngoài ra, Sama Sama còn mang ý nghĩa ‘cùng nhau’ trong tiếng Mã. Ý tưởng kinh doanh Sama Sama được thai nghén trong một cuộc cuộc gặp hữu duyên giữa một anh chàng Mã gốc Hoa và một người con đất Việt xa xứ. Họ cùng nhau hiện thực hoá kế hoạch và hôm nay, chúng tôi mang đến một menu pha trộn giữa ẩm thực Mã Lai và thức uống thuần Việt.
