"Mayak" soft boiled egg jangjorim ~

Will feature in our lunch banchan - refillable too

1 cup yangjo ganjang
1/2 cup mirin
5 tbsp sugar
100g onion
6 eggs

In a saucepan, mix together ganjang (soy sauce), water, mirin, sugar, and onion. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.

Boil eggs for 6 1/2 minutes, then cool it in an ice bath.

Peel the eggs and place it in the sauce mixture.

Let it cool to room temperature. Store the eggs in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Our take:
Tak-gangjeong (yennal tongdak - 옛날통닭)
Can be translated to no-anxiety
