Andong Soju is a traditional Korean liquor from Andong, South Korea, with a history over 500 years old. Known for its strong flavor and high alcohol content, it started as a drink for Korean royalty and is now enjoyed widely. Its unique taste comes from a traditional distilling process with rice, barley, and wheat. Today, it’s a proud symbol of Korean heritage.

"Mayak" soft boiled egg jangjorim ~

Will feature in our lunch banchan - refillable too

1 cup yangjo ganjang
1/2 cup mirin
5 tbsp sugar
100g onion
6 eggs

In a saucepan, mix together ganjang (soy sauce), water, mirin, sugar, and onion. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.

Boil eggs for 6 1/2 minutes, then cool it in an ice bath.

Peel the eggs and place it in the sauce mixture.

Let it cool to room temperature. Store the eggs in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
