I've never been particularly adept at composing elements in my pieces. I get tripped up with ideas of balance, movement and so on. I suppose this also has to do with my fear of losing control, failing and ending up with an unworkable design. But that's actually the worse thing that could happen isn't it... ending up with a piece fit only to be junked. So onwards I go.
