Green Energy Asia Rakan Strategik Majlis Perbandaran Manjung

Pada 30 September 2024, satu Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) telah termeterai di antara Green Energy Asia (Biovisma Sdn Bhd) dan Majlis Perbandaran Manjung (MPM). MoU tersebut telah disempurnakan dengan ditandatangani oleh Tuan Muhammad Faizal Shah Safian Suri, Yang Dipertua MPM, dan Encik Mervyn Cheng, Pengarah Urusan Syarikat GEA.

♻Kerjasama ini diharapkan akan memberi impak positif dan manfaat besar kepada komuniti Manjung, khususnya dalam menjaga alam sekitar serta memastikan kelestarian alam.

🌱Inisiatif ini akan fokus kepada pelupusan minyak masak terpakai secara beretika, yang bukan sahaja dapat mengurangkan pencemaran tetapi juga mempertingkatkan amalan kitar semula yang mampan. Di samping itu, ia turut menyumbang kepada pengurusan sisa yang lebih baik dan mesra alam.🌏

Hari ini GEA telah mengutip melebihi 200kg minyak masak terpakai atas Program KOMBEST dari Majlis Daerah Kampar.

🌿 Kempen Kebersihan & Kesihatan Persekitaran Sekolah 2024 🌿

Pada 26 September 2024, Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI) bersama SK Methodist Ipoh (ACS) dengan bangganya telah menganjurkan Majlis Kempen Kebersihan & Kesihatan Persekitaran Sekolah 2024. Majlis ini telah dirasmikan oleh Tuan Haji Ahmad Munir bin Ishak, Setiausaha Bandaraya Ipoh, dengan penuh semangat dan gimik perasmian yang meriah! 🎉

Dengan penglibatan wakil 166 buah sekolah sekitar Ipoh, kempen ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesedaran tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan dan kesihatan persekitaran sekolah. 🌍✨

Green Energy Asia (GEA) juga dengan berbesar hati menerima sijil penghargaan sebagai Rakan Strategik MBI yang telah memberikan sokongan padu kepada usaha ini. 🤝

🌱 Green Energy Asia turut memberi penghargaan kepada Dewan Makan SMK Raja Chulan, Dewan Makan Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman, dan Kantin SK Pengkalan Pegoh atas komitmen dan usaha mereka dalam pelupusan minyak masak terpakai secara beretika. 💚

Selain itu, Pameran Kempen Kitar Semula juga diadakan untuk menyemai kesedaran dan ilmu tentang kepentingan amalan kitar semula di kalangan komuniti sekolah. ♻

Karnival Ekonomi Kitaran akan diadakan pada 26 Oktober 24 berhampiran BHP & Masjid Teluk Memali, Bandar Seri Botani bermula 8 pagi hingga 1 petang.

Pengumpulan bahan terpakai seperti kertas, plastik, pakaian terpakai, barangan elektrik & elektronik, minyak masak terpakai dan juga kotak minuman juga disediakan bagi komuniti menghantar barangan tersebut.

Tidak ketinggalan, khidmat pelupusan Al-Quran juga disediakan.

Berbagai acara, pameran, pertandingan dan bengkel akan diadakan.

🌿 UTP and GEA Join Forces for a Greener Future! 🌿

We're excited to announce that Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and GEA have officially signed an MoU to collaborate on sustainable biofuel production. This partnership aims to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to convert waste cooking oil into biodiesel and other valuable products.

The MoU was signed by UTP Vice-Chancellor Professor Dato' Ir Ts Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib and Biovisma (GEA) CEO & Founder Mervyn Cheng with Perak State Exco member YB Teh Kok Lim witnessing the event.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards a more sustainable future by leveraging UTP's research expertise and GEA's industry experience. UTP's Centre for Biofuel and Biochemical Research (CBBR) will play a pivotal role, helping to decarbonize the local fisheries sector by producing biodiesel to fuel community boats.

Adding to this, the partnership plans to engage local communities in sustainable initiatives, such as collecting used cooking oil from cafeterias around UTP, contributing to the university's low-carbon campus goals.

Together, we're not just creating biofuels—we're transforming waste into wealth and building a circular economy that benefits our environment and communities. 🌱💡

Pada 23 Ogos 2024, Green Energy Asia telah menandatangani Perjanjian Persefahaman (MoU) dengan Majlis Daerah Kampar yang disempurnakan oleh Tuan Ahmad Suqairy bin Alias, Yang Dipertua Majlis Daerah Kampar.

Perak BEST Event Highlights Community Health and Recycling Efforts

On Saturday, July 27, 2024,
Pusat Khidmat Rakyat ADUN Malim Nawar held the Perak Bersih Dan Sihat (Perak BEST) event, officiated by YB Puan Bavani A/P Veraiah.

Co-organized by Majlis Daerah Kampar (MDKpr), the event brought together various agencies including
Hospital Kampar 🏥,
Jabatan Penerangan (JAPEN) Perak 📢, and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) campaigners 🎓, along with Green Energy Asia (GEA) 🌱.

The event featured health screenings 🩺, blood donations 🩸, a recycling showcase ♻️, a fashion show with recycled materials 👗, and more.

GEA hosted a booth to educate visitors on the dangers of used cooking oil (UCO) and accepted UCO donations for recycling into biodiesel 🌿.

A forum on single-use plastic and waste management wrapped up the event, with representatives from GEA, UTAR, and MDKpr sharing insights and suggestions for reducing plastic waste 🌍.

Perak BEST was a great success, promoting health, sustainability, and community spirit! 🎉

📢 **Success Story: Green Energy Asia's Contribution to a Greener Ipoh!** 🌱🌍

We're thrilled to share that Green Energy Asia, the leading used cooking oil (UCO) collector in Perak, has successfully reduced 6.3 metric tons of CO2e carbon footprint in Ipoh City since 2023! 🚛♻️

This remarkable achievement is the result of our dedicated efforts and the incredible support from local town councils. We've collected used cooking oil from 1,057 premises, including eateries, food factories, school canteens, hospital cafeterias, and more.

By transforming UCO into biodiesel, we're not only reducing carbon emissions but also contributing to a circular economy. 🌿🔄

Our work directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
