1. Data Capture:
- Using industrial IoT sensors and gateways, live and historical datasets such as process data, machine data, log files, environment variables, and ERP data are captured/streamed and stored into secured servers hosted online or on-premise for further analysis/archival.

2. Predictive Analytics:
- Predictive models are generated from historical data for:
a. Anomaly Detection – Identify when anomalies occur ranging from unstable power supply to environmental influences that causes irregular machine behaviour
b. Machine Performance Prediction – Predict machines’ healthiness and upcoming failures to prevent unscheduled downtime based on key indicators
c. Machine Efficiency Monitoring – Measure overall equipment efficiency (OEE) of manufacturing line from key performance metrics of each machine over time

a. Real-time Dashboard – Easy and quick monitoring of real-time performance of all machines to identify trends in machine operations
b. Alert Notification – Alerts users via systematic messaging (email or SMS) for immediate action from active personnel
c. Augmented Reality Maintenance – Visual guidance for users to identify the location of failure and provides interactive maintenance manuals with visual step by step instructions to carry out maintenance process to improve maintenance speed and reduce possibility of error.

Welcoming the visit from Mr.Lau ( VP and head of development at DHL ) to CAIROJB UTM on 11 August 2020.
Here is an exist of the opportunity for our team to present the ongoing project which is the predictive maintenance (PdM) system for conveyors. Constructive feedback and experience had been shared by Mr.Lau toward the team and in addition enhance the commercialization strategy for the system to be deployed in various industries.
There is an opportunity for intern from CIARO UTM to present their proposal in smart warehousing solution and get the feedback and experience from Mr.Lau

The memories are made when gathered around the table with Mr.Lau, Dr Yeong and the InsightX team. Ongoing efforts to develop an ecosystem of robotic and drones at Iskandar had been shared and end the day with the sharing session together.
