Synopsis of the talk: Massive MIMO is a key technology that helps significantly increase network capacity and spectral efficiency while reducing wireless network interference, ultimately improving the end-user experience. This session will cover the main principles and concepts of MIMO, and explain Space Division Multiple Access based MIMO systems and the acquisition of MIMO channel state information (CSI). In this webinar, we will also describe Single- and Multi-User MIMO systems and State-of-the-art near-capacity MIMO systems.

3 DIS 2019 N12- TEKNOLOGI 5G-TIDAK BERI KESAN KESIHATAN

05th December 2019: UTM in collaboration with MCMC, ARM, Celcom Axiata Berhad and Ericsson Malaysia has hosted ASEAN Makerthon 2019 from 02nd to 04th December 2019 at the UTM-Ericsson 5G Innovation Center (IC5G) in UTM Kuala Lumpur's campus. The three-days event was the first to launch Makerthon using a closed-source 5G network. The Makerthon sets the aim of providing platform for participants to showcase their skills, ideas and creativity in producing physical prototypes in line with the theme of 'The 5G Revolution Impact Towards Industrial Revolution 4.0' .

WCC successfully hosted the 1st International Telecommunication Union Centre of Excellence Training on 5G Technology, Opportunities and Challenges from 15-17 Oct at UTM KL.

28 participants from various industries, universities and government agency completed the programme.
