INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MARITIME LOGISTICS AND PORTS, PUTRAJAYA MALAYSIA

6 Sept 2024 – TLP Terminal Sdn Bhd (TLPT) is delighted to announce its successful participation in the International Conference on Maritime Logistics and Port, which was held from 3rd to 5th September 2024, at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). This prestigious event was organized by the Netherlands Maritime University College (NMUC) and brought together key figures from the maritime and port industries and was officiated by the Deputy Ambassador Netherlands Embassy, Ms. Eva Oskam.

The conference featured insightful discussions and presentations from leading experts in the maritime sector. A notable highlight was a keynote address delivered by a renowned industry leader who provided valuable perspectives on regional maritime and port operations.

During the conference, TLPT had the privilege of formalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NMUC. This MOU signifies a strategic partnership aimed at advancing maritime and port projects and underscores our commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration in the industry.

En. Shafe’i Sulaiman, TLPT’s General Manager, represented the company in the MOU signing ceremony. The exhibition attracted a diverse range of visitors, including industry professionals, government representatives, institutional bodies, and other key stakeholders, all of whom showed keen interest in TLPT’s offerings and initiatives.

TLPT & PORT TENANTS JOIN FORCES FOR COASTAL CONSERVATION

24 Aug 2024 - TLP Terminal Sdn Bhd (TLPT) and its port tenants, MSM Sugar Refinery (Johor) Sdn Bhd, Asiaflex Products Sdn Bhd, EcoCeres Renewables Fuels Sdn Bhd and AMOS Malaysia Sdn Bhd, have united in significant effort to protect and restore the coastal environment in Tanjung Langsat.

As part of their shared commitment to the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program TLPT and its tenants have launched a mangrove planting initiative along the port’s coastal areas. The project aims to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity, mitigate climate change and enhance coastal resilience.

During the initiative, 1,000 mangrove seedlings were planted, marking a significant step towards restoring and preserving the region’s delicate ecosystems. The symbolic showcase banner, signed by TLPT CEO En. Mohd Nazri Mansor and a representative of the port tenants, serves as a testament to their collective commitment to sustainability.

The event was also attended by Majlis Bandaraya Pasir Gudang Assistant Officer town planner Dr. Hajah Norlina Mohammad and Affin Islamic Bank Director of Strategic Business Alliances Pn. Noraini Ismail.

SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN TLP TERMINAL SDN BHD (TLPT) AND ALPINE ASSETS MANAGEMENT SDN BHD (ALPINE)

21 Aug 2024 - Today marks a significant milestone for TLPT with the official signing of the Jetty Usage Agreement (JUA) and Wayleave Agreement (WA) between TLPT and Alpine. The ceremony took place at the Hyatt Place, Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru.

The agreements were executed by En. Mohd Nazri Bin Mansor, Chief Executive Officer of TLPT, and Mr. Steven Chiang, Managing Director of Alpine. The ex*****on of these documents was duly witnessed by En. Shafe'i Sulaiman, General Manager of TLPT, and En. Muliadee Abdul Majid, as Director of Alpine. These agreements will pave the way for enhanced operational synergies and mutual benefits, fortifying the long-term relationship between the two parties.

The signing ceremony was further distinguished by the attendance of prominent VIPs from Alpine Singapore, alongside their potential business partners, and key members of the TLPT leadership team. JOHOR PORT SHIPPING & FORWARDING ASSOCIATION (JPSFA) VISIT

19 Aug 2024 – TLP Terminal Sdn Bhd (TLPT) was privileged to receive a delegation of distinguished committee members from the Johor Port Shipping & Forwarding Association (JPSFA) at its facilities. The visit served as a valuable platform for in-depth discussions on various matters of mutual interest, covering a broad spectrum of topics relevant to both organizations.

The TLPT team, led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) En. Nazri Mansor extended a warm and hospitable welcome to the JPSFA delegation. The visit was further enhanced by the active participation of all department heads from TLPT, who engaged in meaningful dialogue, exchanged perspectives, and explored potential areas for collaboration. The meeting underscored the strong relationship between TLPT and JPSFA, with both parties expressing their commitment to continued cooperation in the future.

MESYUARAT DAN LAWATAN KERJA DARIPADA JABATAN KASTAM DIRAJA MALAYSIA (JKDM) DAN KEMENTERIAN KEWANGAN KE PELABUHAN TANJUNG LANGSAT

14 Ogos 2024, TLP Terminal Sdn Bhd (TLPT) dengan sukacitanya telah menerima lawatan rasmi daripada Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia (JKDM) dan Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia ke Pelabuhan Tanjung Langsat. Lawatan ini merupakan satu langkah penting dalam memperkukuhkan kerjasama strategik antara pihak TLPT dengan agensi kerajaan yang terlibat dalam operasi pelabuhan.

Tujuan utama lawatan ini adalah untuk membincangkan secara mendalam rancangan TLPT dalam mengembangkan operasi dan meningkatkan kerjasama di kawasan pelabuhan. Perbincangan ini merangkumi pelbagai aspek, termasuklah strategi operasi pelabuhan, prospek masa depan pelabuhan, dan peluang usahasama yang dapat memacu pertumbuhan industri maritim di rantau ini.

Kami juga ingin merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kepada semua pihak urusetia yang telah bertungkus-lumus memastikan kelancaran dan kejayaan lawatan ini. Tanpa usaha gigih dan komitmen mereka, aktiviti penting ini tidak akan dapat dilaksanakan dengan jayanya.

AKTIVITI SILAT 2024 ANJURAN KELAB REKREASI TLP TERMINAL SD BHD (KRTLPT)

16 Ogos 2024 - KRTLPT dengan bangganya telah menganjurkan satu aktiviti silat yang khusus untuk anak-anak kakitangan TLP Terminal Sdn. Bhd. (TLPT). Aktiviti ini disasarkan kepada kanak-kanak berumur antara 4 hingga 12 tahun, dengan tujuan untuk memperkenalkan serta memupuk minat mereka terhadap seni mempertahankan diri tradisional Melayu.

Acara yang berlangsung dengan penuh semangat dan kegembiraan ini telah menarik penyertaan seramai 30 orang anak-anak warga TLPT, yang semuanya menunjukkan minat yang mendalam dan semangat yang tinggi dalam mempelajari seni silat. Mereka bukan sahaja didedahkan kepada teknik-teknik asas silat, tetapi juga diberi peluang untuk memahami nilai-nilai murni yang terkandung dalam seni ini, seperti disiplin, hormat-menghormati, dan keberanian.

Majlis perasmian acara ini telah disempurnakan oleh Presiden Kelab, Kapten Aidil Azwad, dan acara ini telah dijalankan dengan jayanya, hasil daripada usaha keras dan komitmen yang tidak berbelah bagi daripada urusetia kelab. Tahniah dan syabas diucapkan kepada semua urusetia yang telah bertungkus-lumus memastikan kelancaran dan kejayaan acara ini.

LAWATAN DAN TINJAUAN DARI PIHAK IMIGRESEN PASIR GUDANG

6 Ogos 2024 - TLP Terminal Sdn Bhd (TLPT) dengan berbesar hati menerima lawatan dan tinjauan operasi daripada pihak Imigresen Pasir Gudang. Delegasi ini terdiri daripada Ketua Imigresen, Tuan Wan Muhammad Firdaus bin Wan Kamari, serta pegawai-pegawai dari pejabat Imigresen Pasir Gudang. Lawatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkukuhkan hubungan kerjasama antara TLPT dan pihak Imigresen serta memberi pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai operasi di pelabuhan kami.

Semasa lawatan tersebut, pihak Imigresen diberikan taklimat terperinci mengenai operasi di kawasan pelabuhan Tanjung Langsat. Taklimat ini meliputi pelbagai aspek operasi termasuk prosedur keselamatan, proses logistik, dan teknologi yang digunakan untuk memastikan kelancaran operasi di pelabuhan. Taklimat tersebut diikuti dengan sesi soal jawab yang interaktif di mana pegawai-pegawai Imigresen berpeluang bertanya dan mendapatkan penjelasan lanjut mengenai sebarang perkara yang berkaitan.

Setelah taklimat, delegasi dibawa melawat kawasan pelabuhan. Lawatan ini memberi peluang kepada delegasi untuk melihat secara langsung operasi harian di pelabuhan dan memahami cabaran serta langkah-langkah yang diambil untuk mengatasinya. Mereka dibawa melawat kawasan dermaga, gudang penyimpanan, dan kemudahan lain yang terdapat di pelabuhan.

Selain itu, delegasi juga berpeluang menaiki kapal yang sedang menjalankan operasi pemunggahan kargo. Pengalaman ini memberikan mereka gambaran yang jelas mengenai proses pemunggahan kargo dan teknologi yang digunakan untuk memastikan kargo diuruskan dengan efisien dan selamat.

Keseluruhan lawatan ini diharapkan dapat memperkukuhkan hubungan antara TLPT dan pihak Imigresen Pasir Gudang serta membuka peluang untuk kerjasama yang lebih erat pada masa akan datang. Lawatan ini juga memberi manfaat kepada kedua-dua pihak dalam memahami peranan dan tanggungjawab masing-masing dalam memastikan kelancaran operasi di pelabuhan Tanjung Langsat.

MALAYSIA MARITIME WEEK 2024 (MMW24), KUALA LUMPUR CONVENTION CENTRE (KLCC)

4 Aug 2024 - Malaysia Maritime Week 2024 (MMW24) has successfully concluded. The event took place from 30 July to 2 August 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

Organized by the Malaysia Shipowner Association (MASA), the event was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato' Seri Diraja Anwar Ibrahim, and supported by the Malaysian Minister of Transport, YB Anthony Loke.

The event brought together industry leaders to discuss global maritime and logistics business trends. TLP Terminal (TLPT) participated as an exhibitor in the "Malaysian Southern Gateway" booth, alongside the Johor Port Authority (JPA), which led the exhibition with the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) and Johor Port (JPB).

As we reflect on the successes of MMW24, we eagerly anticipate next year’s event, MMW25, which promises to build on the achievements of this year and continue fostering growth and innovation in the maritime industry.

2 Aug 2024 - TLPT Terminal Sdn Bhd (TLPT) attended the INAMARINE 2024 event, which took place in JIExpo, Jakarta from 30 Jul to 1 Aug 2024.

INAMARINE is the largest and most exclusive gathering for port operators, offshore players, maritime operators, and the shipyard industry. The event featured over 500 local and global exhibiting companies, providing opportunities for networking and business development worldwide.

TLPT representatives engaged with industry leaders and explored advancements in port logistics, supply chain management, and maritime technologies. LAWATAN KERJA LEMBAGA PELABUHAN JOHOR (LPJ) KE TLP TERMINAL SDN BHD (TLPT), PELABUHAN TANJUNG LANGSAT

29 Julai 2024 - TLPT amat berbesar hati atas lawatan kerja yang akan dilakukan oleh ahli-ahli lembaga pengarah LPJ serta pengurusan kanan LPJ. Kami menyambut baik kehadiran mereka dan mengharapkan lawatan ini akan mempererat hubungan serta meningkatkan kerjasama antara kedua-dua pihak.

Tujuan lawatan ini adalah untuk lebih memahami operasi harian dan strategi pengurusan TLPT. Selain itu, ia juga bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti peluang-peluang baru yang boleh dimanfaatkan untuk memperkukuhkan kerjasama strategik antara TLPT dan LPJ. Kami berharap lawatan ini akan memberikan mereka gambaran yang lebih mendalam tentang pencapaian dan cabaran yang dihadapi oleh TLPT, serta membuka ruang untuk pertukaran idea dan pengetahuan yang bermanfaat bagi kedua-dua organisasi.

CSR - VISIT TO THE ORPHANAGE CENTER, THE PERTUBUHAN PUSAT JAGAAN KEBAJIKAN KESAYANGAN ABADI, STANGGI, JOHOR BAHRU.

26 July 2024 - TLPT's Recreation Club (KRTLPT), supported by TLP Terminal Sdn Bhd Staff, Affin Bank, and TLPT's Biker Club, visited the "Pertubuhan Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Kesayangan Abadi (Stanggi)" Orphanage Center in Stanggi, Johor Bahru. We aimed to care for the orphans and deliver donations collected by TLPT staff and supporting organizations as part of our CSR activities.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the smiling orphans. Despite their smiles, we knew they faced challenging life stories. Our hearts went out to these young ones, who have lost their parents and live without family love.

The center's facilities are simple but clean and well-organized. The dedicated management ensures the children receive basic needs and education despite financial limitations.

The friendly session with the orphans was the most moving part. We heard many sad stories from children who lost their parents due to illness, accidents, and other tragic events. The boys range from infants to 6 years old.

We organized activities like games, storytelling, and giving small gifts. Seeing their happiness, even for a moment, brought us deep satisfaction.

The donations, including toys and food, were gratefully received by the center. They expressed heartfelt thanks to all contributors and promised to use the donations for the orphans' well-being.

This visit opened our eyes and hearts to the importance of helping the less fortunate, especially orphans. We hope more people and organizations will support orphanages like this to provide good care and education to children in need.

May Allah SWT bless the children and their caregivers.

19 Julai 2024 - Alhamdullilah, Kelab Rekreasi TLP Terminal Sdn Bhd (KRTLPT) dengan jayanya telah mengadakan Kejohanan Futsal TLPT 2024 di Sport Prima Futsal, Johor Bahru.

Kejohanan tahun ini disertai oleh 9 pasukan-pasukan yang hebat, iaitu:

15 Julai 2024 - Alhamdulillah, hari ini Kelab Rekreasi TLP Terminal (KRLTPT) dengan jayanya telah mengadakan Majlis Halaqah di bilik latihan HSE/AP, TLP Terminal (TLPT). Kami berbesar hati menjemput yang berbahagia Ustaz Mohd Redzuan bin Pandil, Guru Takmir dari Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri Johor (JAINJ), yang telah berkongsi ilmu dengan tajuk "Mengenal Diri dan Mengenal Allah - Memperbaiki dan Memperkukuh Keimanan Diri Sebenar di Sisi Allah SWT."

Selain itu, turut diadakan majlis penyampaian hadiah untuk Virtual Run bagi warga kerja TLPT. Terima kasih yang tidak terhingga kepada Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif TLPT, Encik Nazri bin Mansor, yang sudi hadir ke majlis yang penuh berakah ini dan menyampaikan hadiah kepada para pemenang pertandingan Virtual Run.

KRTLPT FUTSAL CHALLENGE 2024

11 July 2024 - KRTLPT has invited 7 TLP port tenants to participate in the KRTLPT Futsal Challenge 2024. During a meeting attended by all the team managers, a voting process was conducted to determine the groupings of the participating teams. As a result, the teams were divided into 3 groups, creating a total of 9 competitive teams. This includes 2 teams from TLPT, ensuring a balanced and exciting tournament.

TLP TERMINAL SDN BHD (TLPT) 2024 HSE KICK-OFF SAFETY MONTH CAMPAIGN AND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) AT BATU LAYAR, DESARU

28 June 2024 - Alhamdullilah, TLPT's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department, with the support of Kelab Rekreasi TLPT (KRTLP), TLPT's Bikers, and TLPT staff, successfully launched the 2024 HSE Safety Month campaign and conducted a CSR activity at Batu Layar. This initiative focused on cleaning the Batu Layar beach area within a 1 km radius and was a collaborative effort to collect and dispose of garbage.

The event received additional support from Eco-ceres (EC), Surbana Jurong (SJ), and Nanjing Chemical Construction (NCC). It was graced by the presence of Tuan Safuan from Majlis Perbandaran Pengerang (MPP) and officially inaugurated by Encik Nazri Mansor, Chief Executive Officer of TLPT.

Through the dedicated efforts of five teams, a total of 1.1 tons of garbage was successfully collected, significantly contributing to the cleanliness of the surrounding area. At TLPT, we are committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment, and we believe it is the duty of every employee to contribute towards this goal.
