A good read to understand the importance of early childhood education written by Catherine, Princess of Wales. She pointed out that the early childhood education is critical in shaping lives as the science shows that the brain develops most rapidly from pregnancy to age five. The children learn through their experiences with the people around them and their surroundings. During this period, it lays the foundation for adulthood. Social and emotional development during this time, particularly in how we express and manage emotions and respond to the needs of others, is key to attributes that lead to success in the workplace, including resilience, flexibility, stress management, and motivation.

Unfortunately, there is inadequate attention given to the development of social and emotional abilities, as well as the establishment of supportive conditions for their development, starting from childhood and continuing into adulthood.

Investing in early childhood is a down payment on all our futures Businesses should play a central role in changing attitudes
