What a fantastic tour of Borneo with our Aston Martin DB9 Vesper! From Zero km and back to the place we started after 4123km!

The initial plan was to drive from the Telok Melano where we reset our odometer to zero and go to the Tip of Borneo an aproximately 1800km away!

The drive in Sarawak via the Pan Borneo Highway was fantastic with cambered sweeping corners!

We then entered Brunei and headed towards Kundasang but once we hit area towards Tenom and Keningau gosh the rain and roads were punishing! Heavy rain and driving pitch black mountain roads which were only fit by 4x4 vehicles with powerful spot lights! The tropical rain, pitch black mountain roads were a test to man and machine as the roads had dips that were extremely deep with some that had running water running across! There was no way we were gonna stop but to soldier on!
What a relief to arrive in Kundasang with everyone arriving safely to the resort that night!

The next day we head on to the Tip of Borneo where the Journey via Marak Barak was just exceptional climbing the hills again with cambered sweeping corners and the decent views were just exceptional! Pure driving roads here but watch out for the dips and there is gravel sector at the beginning of the descent after the peak!

The following roads to the Tip of Borneo were not great at some sectors, muddy with road works and lots of "Patch work Roads" coined by Alex Stmrock Wong who is the veteren around Borneo roads via Bicycle, Motorcyle or Cars!

The Tip of Borneo is the most Northen part of The Pan Borneo Highway where the South China Sea meets the Sulu Sea!

We then headed to Kota Kinabalu and that is where stored Vesper for 4.5 weeks, as we had decided to do a return run which we just completed!

Our Aston Martin has now completed a round trip of the Tip to Tip Borneo, with out a any drama except for the wipers running non stop after with hit a big dip on the Pan Borneo, at the next stop luckily enough it cured itself!

Time to ship Vesper back and give a health check, there were no check engine light, no abs lights etc... Except the suspension has began to creak over bumps and a little creak at parking speeds, which we suspect its the anti roll bush by that require some copper grease!
