A freshly batch of our custom made flat bottom thru coolant hole drills with Helica coating are ready to ship out for test cut on engine block(cast iron).
This flat point geometry are useful to engage on Irregular/Rounded surface Drilling and Angled Drilling with their outer edge. Compare to making first contact with standard drill point, this makes them less susceptible to deflection on inclined surface and more capable of drilling straighter holes. Meanwhile, Helica Coating is to improve drills performance.
