What makes a good design?
1. Keep it clean
- use only 2-3 types of fonts
- use white space
- less is more
- insert icons
- keep things simple
2. Keep it clear
- use contrasting colors
- be consistent in your design
- give your text a good structure
- stay in line
- reate a visual hierarchy
- adjust image and background levels for text to stand out
3. Implement the basic design principles
- balance - either symmetrical or asymmetrical
- proximity - connect the related elements
- alignment - line up the elements
- visual hierarchy - highlight the message
- repetition - create consistency
- contrast - guide attention
- colour - understand the color scheme and mood
- typography - speak with spirit
