• MAJESTIC ENCHANTMENT •

This was no ordinary wedding decor. The couple, Aniz and Dayana, aimed to impress their guests with a unique concept. Initially considering a black and white theme, they were eventually introduced and captivated by a moody aesthetic.

Designing a backdrop that embodied sophistication, lushness, and a moody ambiance became our focus. Standing at just over 5 metres high, the sense of accomplishment upon its completion was truly gratifying. Couldn’t have done it without my amazing team for the day as well as M Grechine Shangri-La Tanjung Aru, and suppliers! Brutti You should all be so proud of yourselves.

Undoubtedly, Aniz and Dayana were deeply moved to see their envisioned theme materialise. Congratulations to the happy couple on this memorable occasion! 🤍

A day brimming with love and radiance as Aniz and Dayana unite in matrimony, spreading delight to all in attendance.

The couple's personalised aisle initials added a unique touch, a detail they were particularly enthusiastic about integrating. Special acknowledgments to and for the creative influence.

Adorned with blossoms at each side of the aisle and complemented by an opulent floral arrangement camouflaging the signing table, were skilfully organised by our exceptional team. The baby’s-breath arch was elegantly assembled by Shangri-La Tanjung Aru,

All elements converge to design a sophisticated aesthetic that complements the striking couple and their envisioned ambiance.

An array of red tones infuse the lobby with a touch of flair, complemented by classic palm leaf sheaths to add depth and visual intrigue.

A vibrant cascade of hues swirling around the gift, a showcase of the boundless affection shared by Dad, Dana, Dylan, Dyan and Delia for their cherished mother! This array of colours promises to illuminate her with joy! And nestled within are tender periwinkles, blossoms that whisper of a mother’s eternal devotion to her family.

Botanical compositions marrying 2 celebrations, Raya (Eid) and Kaamatan (Harvest Festival), exclusively designed for The LUMA Hotel

The dried fan palm, imbues a touch of mosque-like architecture, gracefully intertwined with preserved florals reminiscent of abundant harvests. A harmonious blend of golden greens and earthy browns converged, reflecting the spirit of two simultaneous celebrations.

Oh, the splendour of these exotic bromeliads, jet-setting from Thailand to dazzle the birthday girl, Rosie! With her love for darker shades, hints of vibrant hues were woven in for that much needed flair.

One of these bromeliads is perched on a tree fern bark, snug in a bespoke planter bowl that was tough to part with, but oh-so-perfect for this special gift, gifted by Gillian Tan.

Fan palms and calathea flower spikes were given a spritz of paint to create that wow-worthy effect, and meticulously nestled among a fine selection of flora. The delicate fluttering of the Moth Orchids also add grace to the festivities.

Truly, the spirit of Chinese New Year dances lively within these walls!

'Twas the season to create some festive cheer! My mission: to craft twelve Christmas gifts for my dear friend!

She dodged the holiday shopping frenzy, leaving behind the headache of hunting for a dozen presents.

• BOY-TANICAL BLISS •

Majestic Orchids mirroring dad and mum grace the birth of their lovely baby boy! The foliage cocooned between delivers the essence of shelter by loving parents.

The contemporary planter’s intricate design complements the Calathea’s leaf forms as well as patterns seamlessly whilst the underside blends harmoniously with the dark Orchid lip tones. The blue floral ribbon not only reveals the gender of the baby but also accents the white florals above.

A thoughtful gift from hubby Liam and baby Leo to dearest mummy Shanna. CONGRATS to you both on yet another bundle of joy!

Divine Orchids grace this composition with their gorgeous blooms. 3 species to be exact, mirroring beautiful daughters Shanna, Sasha and Sherlene.

A large aged palm leaf sheath creates a majestic fatherly appearance whilst showcasing a rustic tropical charm. It also cradles one of the orchids, in other words, a mother’s loving embrace.

The Cheah family gifted this to dear mum Sucy on her birthday. A gift tailored to a tee with some of her favourite flowers and colours.

Nothing better than a hot bowl of soup or porridge when feeling under the weather. Well, that same warmth was felt through this composition.

Although Satya, Paula and Rupini are in Australia, mum felt absolutely LOVED during her recovery here in KK. Some of her favourite colours and details were woven together thus creating a heartfelt experience.

It’s all in the name! A bundle of lushness exploding right out of this wooden planter enhanced by a chic floral ribbon.

The tones of the Blue Star Fern and the Satin Pothos harmonise beautifully whilst the contrasting leaf forms add interest to the composition.

Satya, Paula and Rupini made the order from Australia to show this loving dad how much he means to them.
