Lunch treat from office 🤭.
This is surprisingly good. The rice was taste like chicken rice, topped with good amount of popcorn chicken and sambal. So much flavor and very filling. Sambal can get a tad salty but overall was delicious 😋.
Most colleague tried the Cheesy Bowl.
I don't mind getting this again. Maybe the set 2 piece chicken without rice next time 🤭.

Our Story
Royal Fried Chicken is one of the best local fast food chains in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah established since 2016 by Uncle Lim. There are currently 2 branches of Royal Fried Chicken stores located respectively in Centre Point and One Borneo Hypermall in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Inspired by many local fried chicken stalls, Mr Lim has begun his journey as a fried chicken master in 2009, he dedicated most of his times in researching for the unique and delicious recipe for his homemade fried chicken. It was a long and winding journey until he became an expert chef in making fried chicken. However, one thing that keep him motivated is the smile on people’s face after tasting the foods he prepared, especially the happiness from his children. It was all worth it.
In 2016, he is ready to bring his unique fried chicken recipe to a whole new level. He resigned his job in a camera shop and began the business of Royal Fried Chicken. The first store was opened in Centre Point Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Serving with multiple sides dishes such as cheesy bowls, sambal bowls, barbeque chickens and burgers apart from the fried chickens, Royal Fried Chicken has received 99% of positive feedback from customers. Less than a year, he expanded his business and opened another RFC’s branch in One Borneo Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. He continues to work hard and introduced more foods such as Ayam Rempah, Curry Noodle and many more on the menu. He strives for every customer’s satisfaction.
Despite that the business in Royal Fried Chicken is already on track, he still visits his stores every day for quality control, motivates his staff, and to make sure every customer had enjoyed their meals and services provided by Royal Fried Chicken. “Opening a fast food chain is not all about foods, providing good service and positive attitudes are also inevitable to keep the business going”. Royal Fried Chicken also treats every employee like a family member. He understands that one of the ways to keep his customers happy is to make sure his employees are always positive and motivated. Royal Fried Chicken wants every customer to feel like home whenever they are enjoying their meals there.
