🎙️On 15th October 2024, a special radio programme titled '𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀: 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀, 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀' was conducted in conjunction with the World Mental Health Month, in collaboration with 𝗞𝘂𝗽𝗶 𝗞𝘂𝗽𝗶 𝗙𝗠, supported by 𝗬𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗵. This programme aimed to raise awareness about 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 among youth.

🥳Our sincere thanks to our featured speakers, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗯𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗷𝗶 𝗜𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗺 and 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀, who addressed important issues, such as family stress, the influence of social media, and the critical need for emotional support.

💪Together, we will create a healthier environment for our future youth leaders!

Youth-PREP Centre, in collaboration with PERKESO, conducted “BAH Makan: Resume Writing 101” on 13 June 2024 as part of the Smart Employment Series aimed at enhancing the employability skills of youth. Participants received comprehensive guidance on resume do’s and don’ts, along with practical tips. PERKESO representative, Mr. Joewell David also provided individual resume reviews with feedback. We extend our sincere thanks to PERKESO for their invaluable contribution.

Students from the Faculty of Psychology and Education at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) enrolled in a Leadership Course and invited Youth-PREP Centre to conduct a session on “Embracing Your Conflicts”. The session aimed to boost leadership skills and improve conflict management, positively impacting mental health and well-being. Thank you for having us!

Youth-PREP Centre Alamesra in collaboration with SERATA delivered a session titled "Employee Rights" through a BAH Makan session. A total of 35 youths participated in the session, aimed at equipping them with knowledge about their rights as future employees, including information about the Sabah Labor Ordinance to prepare them for their professional journey ahead.

A big thank you to SERATA for sharing this valuable and engaging session with our youth!

Pusat Belia Youth-PREP (YPC) Alamesra telah melawat Wisma PERKESO pada 4 April 2024 untuk bertemu dengan wakil-wakil PERKESO bagi membincangkan kerjasama dalam pelaksanaan program 𝘚𝘔𝘈𝘙𝘛 𝘌𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵. Program ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan kemahiran, sumber dan peluang yang diperlukan untuk berjaya dalam pasaran kerja moden kepada para belia di YPC.

Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pihak PERKESO atas sambutan dan sokongan yang diberikan terhadap cadangan program YPC.

Pusat Belia YouthPREP (YPC) telah mengadakan program YPC Volunteers Open Day pada 2 Mac 2024 yang lalu bertempat di YPC, Alamesra. Para sukarelawan yang hadir telah mendapat peluang untuk berkenalan antara satu sama lain sekaligus menjadikan keluarga YPC berkembang lebih meluas dengan penambahan ahli-ahli sukarelawan yang mendaftar daripada pelbagai latar belakang belia di Sabah. Daripada perkongsian daripada YPC, mereka menunjukkan semangat jiwa muda mereka dalam menjangkau belia-belia yang memerlukan bersama YPC. Dengan sistem sokongan seumpama ini, YPC berpotensi untuk terus bergerak maju dalam memperkasakan para belia di Sabah untuk menjadi belia yang berwawasan.
