Besides being an annoyance that plagues many people, skin is dehydrated when it lacks water, while dry skin lacks oil.
Signs of dehydrated skin include itchiness, dullness, darker under-eye circles, wider pores, appearance of fine lines and wrinkles...

Healing include lifestyle changes like reducing alcohol, coffee, smoking and increasing water, sleep, raw vegetables...
And on your skin, use gentle balm or oil cleansers with neutral ph, gentle amino acid foam wash, water based wax free moisturisers, moisturising masks with emollients such as hyaluronic acid (gum/ acrylates free!!), sunscreen (indoors and outdoors), strengthen skin barriers with ceramides to prevent moisture loss...

-What is magnesium balms?
Magnesium is NOT medication nor a replacement for medication. It is one of the vital minerals our body needs for energy and function that can effectively absorb through skin. A transdermal supplementation of minerals. That is how it helps with the discomfort we get.

Our balms are natural relievers for muscle, ligament, tendon, nerve pains, cramps and aches... and more. Its main ingredient magnesium chloride may sting or irritate skin when used on its own, to avoid that, balms are formulated with shea butters and plant oils to protect skin and ease absorption, while mint and eucalyptus provide a cooling relief.

-Is magnesium safe for daily use? Any risk of overdose?
Yes, as it is safe for daily use. Our balms are free of
- chemicals
-preservatives
-camphor and other harmful ingredients

There is almost no risk of overdose. Each balm (100g) contains 37% magnesium and each application even less, and we lose them easily, through sweat, stress...etc... and any excess is dispelled by your body in 24hours.

-How it works?
Complemented with mint and eucalyptus, the relief for cramps and mild aches are quite fast. For older issues such as arthritis pr rheumatism, magnesium balms work in stages - replenish... heal... strengthen. Efficiency depends very much on the severity and your diligence.
A magnesium soak usually helps at early stages.

Unlike camphor or clove oils, it does not numb to alleviate pain, magnesium absorbs to replenish what we lack in order to function better or heal. Needs time and patience.

How to use it?
Apply on aches and give magnesium time to absorb. Then stretch your body gently. Apply balm again for more magnesium if needed.
Do not rub or press muscles when it is hurting. We could make it worse if its inflamed or if theres lactic acids build up/ knotted muscles. Only rub if you are sure of the right direction to unkink the muscle or release the acids like a professional would.

-Can I use mag balms for mosquito bites or sunburn?
Yes you can. Magnesium supports over 300 enzymes in the body, it may be effective for different ailments (external) on different people. Some feedback that we have received on its different usage and efficiency include mosquito bites, rashes, headaches, migraine, difficulty sleeping, stress, sinuses... and more. Even though the mint we use are safe food grade, DO NOT EAT the balms. And of course avoid getting any in your eyes.
