Nurdles: the worst toxic waste you’ve probably never heard of Billions of these tiny plastic pellets are floating in the ocean, causing as much damage as oil spills, yet they are still not classified as hazardous

Sometimes it is the smallest things in life that have the biggest impact. So it is with these microplastics washed up on a Mediterranean beach. Every bit of plastic in the ocean slowly breaks down into ever smaller pieces. They don't go away, you just can't see them. Plastic is made to last. and what you use.
Loop2cycle makes small, low cost machines that allow you to turn your plastic waste into cool products, at home or at your school. This is a clean and safe, new business opportunity that is great for the planet. Go on...share this. Thank you.
Today we found a new use for disposable facemasks washed up on the beach. Microplastic Pollution Pouch.
Laboratory tests have shown that chemicals associated with ocean microplastics concentrate in the tissues of marine animals. The question is not if a problem exists, but how are we going to fix it?
The work that Andrew does is brilliant, but to end this issue we need to stop it at the source.
Camouflage is important to all animals, particularly very small sea turtle hatchlings that are predated on by almost everything. So, to be born white makes you stand out and very visible to predators.
Cloud has beaten enormous odds to grow up to her current size of 16kg. Although not yet adult size she has overcome a mountain of challenges and threats to have survived this long in the ocean. It seems almost impossible, it’s a miracle that she has made it this far.
Our small, portable and sustainable plastic recycling machines are superheroes! They can recycle the lesser loved plastics better than ever.
We love Type 2! For recycling that is. Don’t throw this valuable material away.
Nqobani has an eye on a circular economy, so should everyone! Supporting small businesses and ethical recycling is a good step towards it.
This Blue Penguin looks pretty happy to be back in the sea! Thanks to its rescuers in New Zealand. It was freed from treacherous plastic pollution.
Cleaning up our environment is like cleaning our house, we all have to do it! But it doesn’t have to be boring.
- Pick up trash while you walk every day.
- Listen to music while you go.
- Or do it with a friend!.
We should all do our bit for a better planet.
As citizens of the Earth, we should be more mindful of our impact on Mother Nature and help when we can.
Sharks are friends! Not food.

We love Type 5 plastic! To recycle it that is. PP is the best plastic for the job, and it makes the finest products. Waste plastics are not useless!

Here is a glimpse at loop2cycle on the job! We work with big international and small local companies to achieve the dream of ethically made, high-quality recycled plastic products.
As the world progresses, more jobs are needed. And what better way to get them while turning trash into treasure!

Beach clean up on steroids! This lawyer has made an incredible difference to his environment and society. Support those around you who are focused on protecting the Ocean. If you can’t do something physically, perhaps support them with a little financial assistance or simply share with others what they do. Every little bit helps!
July 1st to the 7th is Clean Beaches Week. Beach clean-ups will not solve the ocean plastic pollution problem, but they do increase awareness about the issue. Our recycling machines are being used to turn collected plastic waste into new products. This process of “upcycling” waste adds to the education and awareness process. If you know someone who gets involved in beach clean-ups, introduce them to loop2cycle.
The Blue Ringed Octopus is one of the most venomous and aggressive creatures in the ocean. It has enough venom to kill 26 people. Lucky for humans they don't come looking for ocean polluters.

This little guy is tiny, but so is the Microplastic that he may be feeding on. All nudibranch (sea slugs) have both male and female s*x organs. I expect they understand each other way better that way.

How crazy that human practices are putting something so beautiful at risk. Cuttlefish have spectacular color-changing abilities, even though they are color blind. They can successfully change color to match their surroundings in complete darkness. Wow!
