Alhamdulillah pada hari ini 27 Ogos 2023, YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Timbalan Perdana Menteri merangkap Menteri Kemajuan Desa dan Wilayah (KKDW) telah merasmikan Loji Janakuasa Biogas RISDA-Concord Ulu Keratong di Rompin, Pahang.

Beliau diiringi YAB Dato' Sri Haji Wan Rosdy bin Wan Ismail, Menteri Besar Pahang dan Pengerusi Eksekutif Kumpulan Concord, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Mohd Hussin bin Abd Hamid serta Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Kumpulan Concord, Datuk Khairuddin bin Mohd Hussin.

Turut hadir bersama menyempurnakan Majlis Perasmian ini ialah Pengerusi RISDA YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini binti Ahmad, Ketua Pengarah RISDA YBhg. Datuk Abdullah bin Zainal, Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Datuk Seri Utama Dr. Mohd Khalil bin Yaakob, Ketua Setiausaha KKDW YBhg. Dato’ Sri Ramlan bin Dato’ Harun, dan juga Exco Hal Ehwal Agama Islam, Kemajuan Desa dan Hal Ehwal Orang Asli Negeri Pahang YB. Dato' Sri Syed Ibrahim bin Syed Ahmad.

Abidin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah telah berkenan merasmikan Loji Janakuasa Biogas Concord Kemaman, diiringi YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri bin Mokhtar, Menteri Besar Terengganu dan Pengerusi Eksekutif Kumpulan Concord, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Mohd Hussin bin Abd Hamid.

Turut hadir bersama di Majlis Perasmian ini ialah YBM Tengku Seri Bijaya Raja Datuk Tengku Farok Hussin Tengku Abdul Jalil, Setiausaha Kerajaan Terengganu merangkap Pengerusi TDM Berhad dan Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Datuk Seri Utama Dr. Mohd Khalil bin Yaakob.

We are thrilled to share the great news that today 13th September 2022, the Concord FGV Keratong 2 Biogas Plant in Pahang has been recognised by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Malaysia as Winner of the National Energy Awards (NEA) 2022 under the category "Renewable Energy - On Grid National Grid".

Concord Group has won the National Energy Awards for 3 consecutive years under the same category – in 2020 for Concord FGV Lepar Hilir Biogas Plant in Pahang and in 2021 for Concord FGV Adela Biogas Plant in Johor.

We at Concord appreciated the seamless support from Dana during new biogas engine purchases and after sales services.

Hence, several of our senior management team led by our chairman Tan Sri attended this "Rumah Terbuka" as a gesture of support and gratitude to Dana.

We are honoured to be part of Week 18 at the Malaysia at EXPO 2020!

On Thursday 3rd February (2pm Malaysia time or 10am UAE time) Concord Group will also be doing a Product Launching of Concord BiogasCube, the in-house developed biogas scrubber system & at 11am will be delivering a Talk on "The Development of the Malaysian Government Initiatives in Promoting the Sustainable Energy Industry".

We are pleased to announce that the first Bio-CNG/CBG/Bio-Methane plant from POME in Indonesia will be commissioned in September 2020! The plant is located at PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG)’s palm oil mill, in Wahau, Kalimantan.

Concord with business partner PT RRS started to design and build this plant, utilising SAFE upgrading technology since December 2018.

The main purpose of Bio-CNG & biogas is for diesel replacement for gensets and fleet of trucks and 1.2MWe power generation to KCP.

Concord Group partnered up with TDM and APBA (Asia Pacific Biogas Alliance) to held a three-day Renewable Energy workshop at University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).

The RE workshop was successfully conducted from 13th to 15th December 2019. It was attended by 50 enthusiastic, eager to learn participants (consisting of students and lecturers), with the objective of sharing knowledge to the future generations regarding RE. This is in line with the national and international commitment on climate change.

The workshop was designed to focus on POME treatment at a palm oil mill, such as:
1. Renewable Energy development in Malaysia
2. Biological processes in Biogas plant
3. Biogas capturing system
4. Utilization of Biogas
5. O&M and safety measures of a Biogas plant
6. Site visit to our plant in, Keratong

By the end of the workshop, Concord Group is determined to be working with UMP to place UMT lecturers under the CEO Attachment program and UMT students under the Student Attachment program at our offices and/or our Biogas sites.

Concord Group is grateful and appreciative to TDM, UMT, and APBA for co-organizing and supporting the RE workshop.
