Exploring the States of Matter: Year 5 Students Dive into Physics and Chemistry!
This poster, crafted by our talented Year 5 students, brings to life the fundamental concepts of physics and chemistry through vibrant illustrations and simple explanations.
Solid particles are depicted as tightly packed together in a regular pattern, with fixed shapes and an inability to be squashed. On the other hand, liquid particles are shown as more loosely arranged, allowing them to slide past one another freely.
Through their notes, students highlight key properties of solids and liquids, such as the fixed volume and shape of solids, and the fluidity and ability to take the shape of their container in liquids.
