3 Easy steps to use Halo Digital Goniometer

1. Activate the lasers. Once the HALO is over the limb to be measured, click any operating button to activate the lasers. These are used to line of the bony landmarks as you normally would with the manual goniometer.

2. Zero HALO. Once HALOs lasers are aligned over the bony landmarks, click any operating button to zero the HALO. This creates the reference point.

3. Capture. Move the HALO to the joint range you want measured and click any button to capture the angle.

Snoezelen multi-sensory room is a space created to build a soothing and stimulating environment. We had the honour to present about LEGA mechanical chest percussion for MOH staff in KK Simpang, Perak last month along with Mr Ng, the LEGA inventor. Some of highlights during the presentation are:
- LEGA must be integrated with other chest physiotherapy intervention i.e postural drainage, breathing exercises and forced expiratory technique
- The usage and intensity is based on therapist's clinical reasoning
- Always do assessment first and then review the result to determine the effectiveness. Any change to the intervention for the next session is again depending on the therapist's clinical judgement
