Strong core is so important esp for women as we gracefully grow 35 and beyond. A strong core is important because it helps to ease backache. It makes your back stronger. It aids in your other movements and it makes everyday tasks easier.

The video has easy(beginner)to the more challenging movements. Pick and choose the level you are at.

Always do it with a sense of playfulness. No need to be so serious ya. Have fun!!

VIDEO: Movements to do after long walk, long rides or feeling meh.

This Functional movements for Pelvis and leg goes out esp to Monica Mirpuri who has requested for it.

In the video, I have used layman's terms to describe the different parts of the area instead of it's scientific names.

I do these movements and stretches after my long walk. It's also very effective after sitting too long or if you are feeling lethargic.

Hold anything near you for balance when you need to.

Managed to record this simple stretches while travelling down to Sg 😀. Blessing in disguise I got the last seat, made recording easier as the seat infront was lower than mine so I can put my phone there.

It's a fallacy that one has to be flexible and strong to start Yoga. As a result many shy away from Yoga.

Others think that Yoga is not 'sporty'.

There are many types of Yoga to fit different intentions. So pick the right one.

I am in my mid 50s and I find that Yoga has kept me nimble, strong and flexible. I was neither strong nor flexible when I started.

If you are female and 40 and above and always wanted to try Yoga or start your Yoga journey, you are at the right space.

During the Ramadan month, other than fulfilling my religious duties, I have decided to take a course which is seldom researched on and has a veiled stigma. People are open talking about puberty, prenatal, postnatal but when it comes to this very important milestone in a woman's life many shy away admitting or talking about it, when it is actually a powerful transition.

I have learned so much about this important phase. It can also be a liberating one if we are equipped with knowledge and readiness. Am happy to share what I have learned with anybody interested to know more 🥰 I think everybody should have some knowledge on this, man or woman so that this transition stage is not feared or be ashamed of.

It's time to accept and grow with it.

A huge thank you to those who has spent 3 weeks, of Sat and Sun weekends to be healthier and happier by stretching and letting the liquid crystals in our connective tissues which covers every part of our body and organs vibrate with its energy, by doing Yin Yoga with me.

With this we are able to collect the fees and donate to charity for the Ramadan month.
